With the new year coming up, I really wanna improve my MTT game and fix A LOT of leaks. I usually play a lot of HU SNGs right now everyday, but was wondering if I should move to single table tournaments? If so, should I be playing standard or turbos. I guess I'm just trying to figure out which one will improve my tournament game more. HU SNGs or STT. Thanks

on a similar note, what type of game would be the best to practice mid-late stage MTT play?

Definately not HU SNGs, unless you are getting to the final table often and your HU play is weak.
I would start with STT, then move to MT STT, then MTT...

w.r.t: mid-late stage MTT, MT STT would be the best imo.

180s.

I mean they are realy the only SNG that simulates anythig close to actual MTT play

And I'd say rather normal, not turbos, cause in the latter there's much less post flop play.
Learning how to play post flop will improve your MTT game by much.

What type of MTT's do you play? Are they all the usual 2K-3K starting stacks w/ 10 min levels or 1.5K stack or ??

For deep stack play the PS $8.80 90-player 12-min levels are good. The 45s,27s have more short table play that represent the end stages of a tournament.

On PS you can also find capped tournaments that limit the number of players to 360, 1000, etc.
