Hi, guys. I'm new to poker, I want to participate in tournaments and improve. Help in choosing a strategy, give some advice, maybe links to educational videos and all of this kind, I hope for your help. Bank roll is not big, about $ 20. Which tournaments will you advise in order to raise a sufficient bank roll? :):) And I would like to learn more how to add map icons in messages?

With $20 BR I would consider focusing on freeroll tournaments offered. Check out pokerstarsschool.com for a lot of free content and learning/studying material. Also poker streams on twitch.tv are good to learn from the pros! Really gives you an insight to their way of approaching the game and thinking process. I hope this helps :)

EDIT: Give this a read too :) https://www.cardschat.com/forum/learning-poker-57/building-a-baby-bankroll-181238/

If you are starting at poker, the most important is the management of Banck.

Try the SNG 0.25 and 0.5 on PS. Also, you can try now, on PS to play 0.11 satellites to get 1.1 micromillions tickets. Also you can play the 0.55 MTT. Still your bankroll it's very small. for everything.

I would suggest to have 50bucks and play whatever SNG and MTT's with a maximum buy in of 0.5dollar and also take shots at 1$ MTT's. They are very soft.

I wouldn't suggest you freeroles, simply you can't learn anything out of it.
I would play 0,25$ SNG's, dont think your bankroll is big enough for anything else, def not for mtt's, no metter how small buy-in's are.

I recommend you play a lot of sit and go .. and when you feel that you are a specialist, you could start playing tournaments longer as a test of your endurance ..

In your case, an excellent 0.5 $ tournament for 45 people

You defiantly want to use there Poker School online videos. I was part of the Poker School in its heyday before PS got the rights to it. I would suggest checking out Al Spath videos ASAP. He was a great teacher for me back then and will for you now.

Sadly i cant play on PS anymore and cant tell you what games to play but i would hit the sit and goes to start until you get your bankroll higher. Start on the lowest game you can find and check out the free-roll games as well.

Best of luck to you and may the flop be with you.

If you already got acquainted with poker school on poker old man, I recommend to practice the theory on the SNG for 25 cents

I would play sit and go at start, they are mini tournaments. Maybe 6 people or 9 at first. Then when you build a bankroll move to bigger, say 45 players. After you can make easy transition to mtt, where usually will encounter 1000+ players. Good luck!

It begins with regular tables with micro-stakes, $ 0.01- $ 0.02. If you want to play tournaments there are modalities "Sit & Go" from $ 0.25. They are small prizes but to start is fine :):):D:D

Read the Green Book. Simple mathematics of poker. Play the micro-Bains. After a surprising number of the time, maybe in six months or a year you will feel that you are playing pretty confident and often get to the final table. Then the time comes to move to the next level.
