Don't put much stock in how long you last. While you have to last in order to cash and win, the danger is that if you focus much attention on lasting, it's likely at the expense of decreasing your probability of getting very deep / winning.
It's counter-intuitive to quite a few players, but there's more profit in cashing somewhat less often if your average cash is somewhat larger. Due to how payout tables are typically structured, it does work out this way over the long term.
