Hey guys, I am currently multi-tabling the 45-man 3.25 Turbo's at stars. I am playing 10+ at a time. I was wondering if you guys think it would be a dumb idea to throw in a 2-3 dollar buy-in MTT like 1k+ entrants. I know you're not supposed to multi-table different games but just would like to see what you guys think about that.

Generally not a good idea, as you are geared towards one style of play on your reg games, and can easily let that style overflow into the MTT with disasterous results. I would advise against it.

On PS, I mt 18/27/45 SNGs (reg speed) and play MTTs too. For me it isn't an issue. I open the Info tab 1st hand on all my SNGs and open the Note tab on my MTTs and this gives me a quick visual check when my tables pop up for action. When I get close to the MTT $$ bubble I don't start any new SNGs until the bubble breaks and the same when I get to last 2 tables in a MTT.

Thanks for the input guys, the main concern i have is that i would definately like to start playing mtt's but i can put in any real volume with them because i would only be playing 1 at a time, and i normally play 12 tables so my hourly rate would go down the drain even if my roi was much higher.

I grinded those 1.10 45 for a little while too, and also started playing a few mtt's a week. But i think it's best not to do it because its never profitable, unless you get lucky and cash big after playing a few mtt's offcourse.

When you are able to compensate the losses of mtt's easily you can do it.

Depends if you can adjust to both formats correctly, if you can, then go for it.

Would not do it. You will find yourself making bad calls in the MTT.

Keep in mind these guys will be watching your play for far longer then at a SNG.
