Hope your all having a great weekend.

I tried 3 tournaments concurrently and got smashed. I could barely keep up. The biggest problem for me is that I was not able to analyze all of the players in realtime. 3 MTT's were way to many for me. I'm going back to the old school. One tournament at a time.

Your thoughts? Maybe I'm missing something? Man, it was hard!

Get used to playing one tourney and then add one more in, when you get used to playing 2 at the same time add another one in and so on and so on :)

I definitely recommend taking it slow as far as adding multiple tables get yourself to where your playing solid poker one table then add a second table. If you take on to many at a time when your not use to it you miss a lot of information to help determine how to play a hand in certain situations. I have however noticed using a hud has help me multi-table easier.

Just play whatever is comfortable for you.

You don't have to play 2 or 3 MTTs if you can't handle 2 or 3 MTTs at the same time.

You should use the statistics programs wherever possible and not prohibited by the rules of the room. No need to remember who plays as it is a useful training, but it requires attention to one table. If you have a well-tuned HUD - you immediately see who is playing. This speeds up the evaluation of the sitting at the table, and you can spread your time into several tables.

This does not give you unfair advantage over rivals - you just do the same thing, only not in one tournament, but in several at the same time. Good luck!

Thanks for all your posts.

The only problem here is that I live in the US and I don't see any HUD software available, unless I'm missing something. I mainly use BetOnline.

It's important for me to let you let you know that I use a mac, not windows :(

Unless you're from the generation that was raised by computers then you'll always have a hard time. Like anything it takes time and training. I have played 4 or more games at once. It's not an easy task but players do it all the time. Your main focus will be ABC poker and just playing your cards in position. My biggest problem was trying to keep things straight. I would play more aggressively in turbo and normal in a longer tournament but then get them crossed and make the wrong move in the wrong game.

I tend to agree with lifelab that playing in multiple games is exhausting and hard i tend to stick to just a few i will not play more than 3 tables at a time.

maybe try 2 consecutive and see if you can handle it. If you feel like you can manage it and feel comfortable this way maybe you could stay with that amount if you want to. If you feel like you can not manage it or do not feel comfortable with it then maybe its best to stick with one for future games.

In my opinion focus is the most importat of 3, and try to read players in it. Play the other with less informaion and good hands only.

The interesting thing when playing multiple tables is you don't wast your time playing junk. Inevitably, you tighten up. You make decisions in split seconds and act. Calculating bet size, keeping apprised of your stack and others, etc. and picking up on ranges comes easier the more you do it and it will help your single table game. Also play omaha.

I play one almost all the time and may be two sometimes. More than two, it just gets overwhelming to play and got smashed several times.

Many plays require great analysis, besides playing several tournaments you can not analyze your rivals or the movientos, so if the tournament is of great importance dedicate to play one so your odds of having a reward will increase

I've reduced playing in 2 concurrent tournaments and no more. I've been successful and am not getting bent of shape anymore.

Have a good weekend!

Just play one until you are comfortable then add one until you reach that comfort level. You will never play better the more tables you play but you will gain experience far faster.

It would be better to concentrate on one tournament, more chances for a successful game. I had the same situation, I played 3 tournaments and I was not able to read players, I eventually lost.
