OK; here I was in a 1$ MTT. I usually play nothing but premium hands, and I am posting complete hands, cause I am not looking for hand analysis (although comments welcome - results hidden, highlight will show) but am looking for overall MTT strategy advice. 1st hand, AKh, me utg+1. I feel I have to bet here, even though 1st hand. I have info on 1 player, 8 are complete unknowns for me. As I get TPTK with flush draw, I still feel I need to represent my hand. I am posting this cause of strategy that promotes tight image at early stage MTT, which I use, but had a couple of hands I thought were necessary to go for. (BTW, the HC I use always puts there annoying (All in) after every bet/raise/call, so ignore it just see the bet/raise amount) and the $1 or $2 is always stack to the nearest 1000, $1 is 1000 to 1999 and so on

This hand was about 5 hands later. The table had been real tight, maybe 3 players max seeing the flop, and a couple hands 1 raise to all fold. So I thought I cant let this by. Just a call to see what the table does, after 1st flop check, in position, I had to bet. Concur?

My point is, in a MTT, is my second hand too wide? The table seemed to be relatively tight for a small buy in tourny, and with me on button.... And after all check the flop, I kinda have to bet, dont I? Or is proper MTT strategy dictating an auto-fold here PF, to keep my image tight? And do I show my first hand after all fold to promote my only premium hand playing attitude? The second is a certain no-show.
I will post another hand in HA, so I would appreciate anyone here looking there for your thoughts on that hand.
And just as I thought it was a relatively tight table, this happened...lol
