Hey,
Do you play in satellites to MTTs?
Earlier I played only in the satellites, won in approx. 25% of them and then always lost in $0.55/$1.10 tournaments. That's the way I always bankrupt. Maybe it's just because my bankroll was too small for this tournaments and I had less skill than now.
They are specific, on pokerstars you have 10k chips and the blinds are going up very quickly (hyper speed). Do you have specific strategy for them?

I play the $0.15 16 players satellites [4 max] for the two $1.10 tickets and sometimes some $0.30 , $0.45 and $0.60. I have a small bankroll and I don't want to ''go bankrupt''. I have taken many tickets most of them for $1.10 tournaments. Some times with those tickets I participate either in a $1/180 or $1.10 MTT like big 1.10 or 6max 1.10 1.5K gtd.

Those satellites have very high variance apparently because is a push/fold game but at those levels you can find some inexperience players so you can take advantage of them.

The strategy I follow is pretty simple, I rarely open unless I have a total monster and hoping for a re shove from any opponent or I open if I am the chip leader of the table and I want to apply some pressure. I push any AJo+ and any Axs , 22+ and depending on the spot and the position some Kx , Qx , Jx. I don't want to give you a more particular range because in poker nothing goes always by the book.

And after all if you reach the final table of this satellite [first two get paid] try to attack the same stack with you when you are at the stone bubble phase!

I also played few times this satellites for fun.
First and second were almost perfect I reached final table instantly, in one even eliminated one player at the final table, but finally lost with premium hand vs. something really bad. Then I tried about 4-5 times, but lost all.
4 max satellites are harder for me than those normal, but they're definitely more fun. :)

Yeap same here , I have experienced many coolers because the opponents call with any two but that's poker. That satellites work for me till now. You just need to find what works for you if you want to take shot in buy ins bigger than your bankroll. Either way I wish you good luck :)

I played some satellites to bigger tournaments using stars coins. The best I won I think was ~12 USD ticket to sunday million. Unfortunately busted early ;)

Tournaments or sit&go's? For sit&go you should have about 30-40 buyins and for tournaments about 100 buyins to play comfortable.

Check out Tonkaaaa's videos on hyper turbos.
He has more similar videos on his channel on that topic. Those are high stakes sit and goes (typically 1000-5000 USD buyin), but it is interesting to watch anyway. In one of the videos he said that he spent hunderds of hours studying preflop ranges on 3-15BB stacks on 6-max. For some people it looks like "bingo poker" as he said, but in reality there is much more to it.
