Currently, there are several types of tournament structures, ranging from hyper-slow structure and finishing! Depending on the style of play that changes drastically as the range of the player! In tournaments with a hyper structure of hard to talk about the best game, it is more suited to slow structures!
Not a small fraction of the player and style, as well as its ability to switch while playing from one style to the other!
Another component is the dynamics of the table, and opponents style! With experience, will integrate all the components, you can easily achieve success in the tournament, you must only work and perseverance. Because everything depends on you and your abilities. Want to do more? Well, all in your hands, as there is no correct and incorrect poker game, there is only observation of the people that live poker!
At the beginning of every tournament you must play tight, I would say even a nit, if there is a very aggressive player at the table or as they are often referred to as losers or fish. Play aggressive poker, as it is the most profitable, but also disperse!
Be slaves at the tables, play in the first place, do not settle for small! As they say fate loves the brave and courageous!

I play tight at the beginning of the tournament, but I pound a little, I don't reach prizes. My reyza in 4-5 BB call with garbage. Yesterday 2 times has got to prizes in tournaments in which it was registered in 1 minute until the end of late registration.

Hello ,
Try to play tight at the beginning , and try to hit nice combinations to raise your stack , and when you have a nice stack , and you're already on the prize. I suggest to you to open more hands , and trying to play more aggressive.
I mean not to going all with AA or KK or QQ , just try to play these hands , AK AQ AJ A10 open with a decent raise , and if they make re-raise you can fold if you want you can call depends of situation , and even try to steal the blinds.
Thanks.

shouldn't we play opposite of the other players ?
play nit when we could be getting chips due to our skill over some of the others at the table is not what I would do .
Not making my own luck and passing up on opportunities because I decided before I sat down at the table and seen what type of players and how I could use my skill against them is what I would do.

Sounds to me you chose to play nit because you have problems with players at the beginning of the tourney and loosen up as the game goes because players become more robotic and predictable.

keep working on your game and practice as much as possible your early game will come around and you wont have to play nit when you should be getting the easier chips and making going deep a better reality for consistence In your finishes.

Good skill at the tables

Playing tight is the best at the beginning of a tournament if it is also the best if you have an average stack on the other hand if you have a stack much bigger than the other players at the table play more hands and being aggressive is essential to protect your stack Against the increase of blinds
