MTT Skype group

Hey everyone!
I want to start a skype group with MasterOfDisaster and Bushy_Lufc to discus MTT poker with.

A few requirements:
- Active and known at cardschat.
- Decent knowledge about poker.

Hopefully we can get a decent amount of people and share our knowledge, help each other out with hand review, sweat the deep runs!

Seriously, I would be interested but I'm by far not an expert when it comes to Skype, although I have 2 accounts.

Sounds interesting, although looks like time diff might be an issue for me to be involved on there with you all......there is always the monthly mtt/sng threads as well that we off and on try and get going but never seems to flare up unfortunatly......was attempted just the last month in April, could always give it a shot again in May if you are interested.....would make for good activity on the forum if it could get off the ground again and keep going and would make for discussions to be documented etc for future reference.

Would like to know the timezone, and sites that are being played on. I am generally interested. I'm in the US eastern time zone and play mostly just regulated sites in NJ.

Hey everyone. Thanks for the interest and sorry for the late response. I totally forgot to check this thread again after a few days of getting no response in this thread.

I will let you all know tommorow since i was just about to sleep. Would have to talk with MoD and Bushy. Personally i would only add people on skype which are active users on the forum.

By the way: TimeZone doesnt really matter, but it is GMT and GMT+1 for me, MoD and Bushy. You can leave offline messages on Skype and we will see it when we wake up. And, i'm not a morning person and am up often till late. So that shouldn't be a big problem

I'd be interested, I'm not in any "serious" Skype groups for poker and not in any strictly MTT ones. PM me your Skype name if you get this started up!

I forgot my skype ID since i always auto log in when my computer starts so i will pm Ron, Dave and Trent for your skype ID's and add you all to the group. Then we can discus if we want to add more members.

Hopefully we can make a active and quality skype group for poker

Please don't see it as a rejection.

So for the others being somewhat more active, posting hands in MTT area(we will help there) in the meantime to improve and that we get to know you and your game better.

I see this as a experiment and hope the group will improve our game. Ofcourse, we can have some fun, but we make the group and you join the group mostly to improve your own and others game. It is not a brag chat to post your aces cracked in .

you have to play to be part of the group? I didn't see that anywhere in the requirements .

Some great mtt players in there already, I'm sure it will be beneficial for all.

Can I whine about my dueces getting cracked? Happens way too often, something fishy going on? :rofl:

Just shows my e-mail. I always forget my skype name and don't realy know where to find it lol. Easier to ask for others ID's for me
I've added you and Dave on skype. Waiting on Trent's ID to add.

Must have over read this. Sounds like a good idea, instead of all those single threads you could make a mega thread for hand review. On the other side i think it will be a bit of a chaos and people prefer to make their own thread for a hand. You will get more opinions with a single thread and won't have diferent hands posted in the thread while another hand is still discussed.

I'm not active. I'm a Captain of League, and a Freeroll Club member. That's not active enough?

Hmm sounds perfect for collusion =)

IRC is actually the preferred platform for group chats, you will notice it's also adopted by twitch for channel chat. You can run bots, programs that connect to chat and respond to messages, and it has all the moderation features (ban, silence, etc) which is not available with platforms like skype.

Cool. ..... well if my 1st generation laptop can run stars and Skype at the same time then I'd be up for joining you all
