Brief background: I started with a $0 balance in May and have just now built it up to just over $50 (>$42 real money + >$8 tourney money). I have always kept a conservative 100 buy ins as BRM and would like to continue that way.

My BR threshold for losses will be at $35 after which I'm going to go back to playing satellites and freerolls.

I've made a list of $0.55 tourneys that I can play. As attached in the screenshot. I'm worried about how deep the player fields are because I'm used to playing smaller fields in party and making a positive ROI as a result. Any thoughts?

Having said that I'm super excited to finally put in greater volume. Waiting around for freerolls and playing 3 sattys a day is a real drag honestly.

Yellow highlights signify MTTs I won't be able to play as regularly as I want. The others I can plan and play.

If you're not used to large fields, play a bit tighter early on than you might have played with smaller field (counter-intuitive, right?). But as the tournament progresses towards the final few tables, play as you would normally play.

All the very best! :icon_thum

Thanks a bunch mate. I don't expect a lot of success initially (especially with the bounties) but I'll remember any and all advice given. Will help in sticking to the game plan during long dry spells :)

Good morning, I recommend you play a satellite of 0.22 which is KO and the prize is an entry to the tournament 2.2 that is also KO. you would be playing cheap and if you eliminate 6 players and recover the entry. to me it has given me positive results.

good luck at the tables

That's a really good idea. I've seen these but have been a little sceptical about them. These are the same ones that read "test" in the tourney name I believe. Since I'm tackling more bounty MTTs head on these sattys will make for good practice even if I don't qualify.

I would recommend playing mtt tournaments of 0.55 or 1.10 you can also play sit-and-go tournaments of 0.50 of 360 players or 180 players are excellent

take good notes, review your hands, sharkscope the regs

When I was putting in volume last year on Party I was doing a more consistent job than I am today. I have become sloppier recently. Sharkscope is not a tool I'd used earlier but I did use pokerprolabs diligently. Will be trying sharkscope as a replacement this time though.

Honestly, not very confident about playing any $1.10s atm. I will satty into them when I can but not directly buy in. I'll test the waters first. I expect a lot of variance with the larger playing fields. But if I have a 15-20 ITM% then I'll consider regging at a $75 BR.

My Sit n go game is bad. But I was seriously considering putting more time an effort to be better and initially with smaller playing fields (90 players and below). But combining sit n gos with MTTs atm is not something I can do successfully until I make more progress studying sit n gos I feel.

on a 50$ roll 0.25$ SnG & any sats under 0.55$ are the safest options IMO

Yep. On the SNG front I was eyeing the $0.25 games myself. They are currently the smallest formats offering 45 and 90 player fields.
