Basically I am thinking about jumping up to the Medium or $20 level to basically increase volume, types of MTT's and decrease size of the tournaments to decrease variance. Ok so basically right now I play at anything >$10. I joined up at Poker PWNAGE about a month ago and have see tremendous improvements in results and play at the table. This is on both Stars and Tilt, I decided to stop playing on UB. The problem is all the Micro Rebuys are either really early in the morning or really late at night. Everything in between as far as tournaments is just meh. The sizes for the most part for the bigger buy ins are a lot smaller. I really want to give a good shot to the $4 and $5 2r1a's on stars with fields below 300. Also Any Deep Stack/Double stack MTT's PS and FT has with manageable field sizes and of course most rebuys... The only question I have is just putting the funds into my account and jumping up to these levels in any way wrong? I would be putting them both at the capacity of 200 Buyins, Or could I just say well I have 100 buy ins on FT and 100 buyins on PS and just play the level based on that? The main question really is... Is it ok to just deposit 200 Buyins for the $20 level, from the $10 and less level's, instead of winning and building bankroll up there. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

If you can afford it and feel comfortable playing those levels then I see no problem at all with it.

I love those 2R/1A's too - but I prefer a larger field.

Larger fields have bigger pay-outs than smaller one. While variance may be reduced in smaller fields, you're also taking in a smaller pay-out. And the opposite is true for bigger fields: more players = more [chance for] variance, but you're paid more for your troubles. So, it's a risk vs reward.

If you're comfortable playing at these limits, then go for it. A 100 buy-ins at any limit is a decent BRM plan. Good luck.
