Here is a crucial hand I just played.
Step1
I bet half pot hoping to push any flush draws out of pot and get heads up.
Step2
I didn't think through this much but i thought maybe a bluff or he hit two pairs possibly.
So i called. A) What would you do here?
Step3
I picked up my set. Did he hit the flush? B) Call or fold?
Step4
I didn't see that coming.

i don't think you are ever going to push anybody off a draw with a half pot bet, overbet!

you played to defencive style. You should overbet. Sometimes better win few chips than loose more. But more important in this case is your fillings. Each winning (even this small) make us happy :)
