2.6 BBin position...i do that because i want cards like A2,3,4,5,6,7 to fold out of position..
2.1 BB out of position but with cards like J10,KJ,A10 small paires
3 maybe 4 BB with AA ,KK...

This is a great way to get information from his opponent. Find out whether you went out of his range.

Min raising is a tactic of post flop small ballers, or of good players at weak passive tables. Completely contextual as with all poker playing players tendencies and ranges. If you get lots of post flop stickiness and stuff then you may want to adapt by mixing in other raise amounts and check min raises or limp re raises too.

min raising is very effective against short stacks due to how they are no longer getting the odds to shove a good play some of the time but you should stick to in general to around 3x

a min raise can be a sign of weakness, a 2.2x bet looks stronger and enables a larger cbet, but as the tournament progresses a min raise works in just the same way as a 2x bet, just ask urself why am i doing it and always consider if a min raise will do the same job as a larger raise

When u min raise like 2.5 ill play you just to get a sense of your opening range, and if u have a opening bet range i can put u on exact hands ill know when to flat, raise you, and when to go allin, ill be your worst nightmare on the table, and i have to say preflop game is not my strongest suit, i play really well post flop, so ill take u apart :D not bragging im just honest, betting patterns is what i look for on the table that and the amount of time u take to make a bet/call/raise there is only one thing that could help u in that case, is if u are lucky to hit your cards, but over a period of hands ill eliminate the luck factor and ull be like a sitting duck for me :D

I don't really feel like min raises are very effective. I think once a player looks down and decides that he wants to limp in and see a flop with a speculative hand, it's real easy for them to talk themselves into calling a min raise. I might min raise from the SB, only because I think the BB is going to expect me to try to steal the blinds and be calling much wider in that situation. So why waste the chips? Otherwise, I like to open to 3x with most of my range. I'll add an additional BB for each limper that entered the pot in front me. That's about the only variation I make in my opening raise size so as not to give away the strength of my hand. If I'm raising the same amount with AA as I am with QQ or QJ, then the table is going to learn to respect all my raises.

against weak players it may work, against strong players it won't. observe your table and you'll know when to try it

Min-raising has become more popular of late from early position by players with either a small pair or a monster. It is used in mid-late position by small-ball players sometimes as well. It can be used to get info from players to act after you, but also may induce reraises so be careful. On the flip side, can be used to induce a reraise from someone as well. Can be used effectively imo, but be careful how you use it.
