Hey gang. I wanted to ask everyone's experience on this. First of all I play VERY low stakes so what I'm talking about may not be generalizable. I am noticing on occasion people min betting over one or two limpers and it always confuses me. I think a lot of them are set mining but not always and I'm always wondering whether to try and 3bet over them especially from BB. Have y'all had this experience?

This type of play confuses me too, sometimes they show monster hands, sometimes they have junk...It's microstakes, so if you don't have stats or reads on the opponent, be very careful.

At the lower limits often wins a weak hand, and luck plays a very important role, and the game becomes a minefield!

I very often at the beginning of the tournament I pretend to be a passive player in order to catch opponents. Be careful not to bluff a lot with the same player.

do not play as limp
Will run the risk of losing to hands that should not enter the pot

All right, knock limpers need and move, but with one condition that you have more or less normal hand because he can rearrange you again, it happens, and you do not win, but potiryayesh

Minraising over a limper doesn't make any sense because limper will always call a minraise. You should be making a bigger raise to have some fold equity.

Limpers will always call a minraise, so you need to make big bets, in order to knock them out of the bank. Since limpers like a lot of streets to draw straight and flush draws.

If three limpers put 20 chips in the table and one raises to 40, I think it's a senseless play. It's the same to say: "OK, guys, the blind now is 40!". Of course anyone who isn't a totally donkey will call. If a player is miniraising to try to punish the limper, he is playing it wrong. If he had a good hand and trying to put some players out of the table, is playing wrong as well. And if he has a really strong hand and is trying just to increase the pot, it's worse.
There is no reason to do that.

on microlights it makes no sense at the beginning of the tournament to make big bets until you see the flop because at the beginning of the tournament there are many weak players who will still bet no matter how much you raise the bet and sometimes they will catch nuts !!! well, and fly out of the tournament, lose against a very weak player does not want to!

I’m really having a tough time seeing when this would be the play to make... I guess exploit those you see doing it by three betting wider would be my advice.

I would raise prety wide for value, and to isolate yourself from other players getting involved in the pot. Try and get the recreational player heads up. I wouldn't minraise either. If you minraise, many would still hapilly call your bet. You want to fold those hands out. A ton of your hands will have a lot of equite against the limper, but it will drop a ton once it get multiway. Besides that, if the player is very bad, i'd limp prety weak hands along with him too to get involved in pots and be there when he gives away his stack.
