Try to assess the players at your starting table as quickly as possible. The tournaments will probably have a fair number of players who got in like you did or through satellites. If you're table has a high proportion of them, you may not be out of your depth, or not much, which means you don't have to adjust very much.
Otoh, if you get a table where you feel at a disadvantage ability-wise, the play will probably be more aggressive than you're used to. So you'll want to adapt accordingly. For example, if you're used to being allowed to open-limp, that won't be the case as often, so don't try.
