it depends on your statck and how far you want to go, if you have a low statck you have to play only with high cards, if you have a high stack it is recommended to play more aggressive

Depends on many factors like tournament type, speed, icm, etc. If you have a small stack wait for your time to shove. If your larger stack play more speculative hands but try not to bleed chips and be a calling station

Really now? A tournament with only top pairs, premium and a few more hands? I supposed you won an MTT with that strategy, right?

Math says you're wrong..

Depends on the other players an the cards. Usually, I play tighter at the end of a tournament. In addition, its usually when I seem to get bull shit cards, to... LOL.

Position is key in the mid to late stages. Get to know who sits to your left and right. Don't play marginal hands if you have a LAG to your left that will raise you out of a hand preflop. This is also a good time to slow play hands and toss in some plays like min raising to try and get a reshove when you have a good hand.

Answer is quite difficult, you have to feel the situations at the table, like always of course. General teories say, we should use our high stack to exert pressions, but opponents often will read us - large range. If you have around 10M you play suited connectros and A high all in. You can not beting f.e. 2,5BB, because it is commiting, even AA and other top pairs you must play the same way, opponents will think you have some marginal hand.

At the earliest stages of the tournament, your game should be similar to playing for cash tables. All because the stack sizes here will be many times the size of the blinds, which will allow you to bet on the flop, turn and river with a lot of hands.

In the middle stage of the tournament, high cards will increase in price, if you are the first to enter the pot. Since you will need a significant portion of your stack to call raises in the middle stages of the tournament, you should avoid it if possible.

The Babylovs should beware of other big stacks and very short stacks, as they will call you more often.

If you have a medium-sized stack on the bubble, then you can take advantage of the knowledge that large stacks will often steal banks, and wrap it for yourself.

Would it not be more productive to read responses from individuals (Professionals) who actually know what they are talking about?

There may be some valid responses to your question here on this post, but if you are serious on understanding how to play middle and late positions in tournaments, then may I suggest you read Harrington on Hold’em. Note: there are a few books from Dan Harrington on the subject.

It's important to play lots of tourneys and find a style that works for you, and suits your personality . Some people like a loose aggressive approach throughout an event , with a wide range of pre flop raises + reraises , semi bluffs , continuation bets , and outright steals . Good card sense and the ability to read your opponents is essential if you pick this method . One must also be willing to endure a roller coaster stack size and disasters at any time ( it hurts near the bubble ) . I like a very tight , patient range early and a looser mix once the antes kick in . This style often leaves you with a low stack compared to the gamblers ,but you will get deeper into the tournament regularly . An advantage is that your observant opponents will tend to give you credit when they see your solid starting standards . You will have few blow ups , less variance and more cashes , but wont get to the final table much . The bubble, and any subsequent level ups will be a struggle almost every time. You need to know the shoving math then ! Pick your theory /style and see if you can make it work .
