I have been playing tourerment so sometime now, both of live and online. But being short staked is also my problem, like I alway found myself struggling with my stake at the mid stage or further on the competition. So most of time I have to, being force to move all in at some point, then got busted. I guess my problem is that not sure how to play after the blined gone up, especially the mid stage play.
could you anyone give me a hand on this issue, is there anything i need to do, practice, experimenting maybe. Thanx:)

You need to understand The differences in strategy when you have 10 big blinds , 15 bbs, 20 bbs, 30 bbs and more. I would try finding some tournament strategy videos online. One good site is tournamentpokeredge.com.

with a short stack ( 20bb or less ) be patient and get your money in a spot where you have a good chance to double up ,play push or fold only , look for oponents who are very tight and steal blinds from them, although you must be patient I wouldnt get my stack down to less than 7-8 bb as then you have very little fold equity left. 20-30 bb I think is a good reshoving stack so attack the players who a raising too much or fold easy to 3bets. Dont panic ive won tornaments with one bb left.

When you get to the middle stages of tournaments, how often is your chip stack in the to 1/3 of the field? In the middle 1/3? And in the bottom 1/3? If you're in the bottom 1/3 more than 33% of the time, the most likely problem is that you're playing too tight. You're probably putting too much value on survival and not enough on chip accumulation / stack maintenance. As a result, you don't compete for and thus don't win enough small and medium-sized pots to stay out of the bottom 1/3.

Yes, it's possible to be reduced to a tiny stack and to come back and cash or even win. Anyone who has played a lot has done so. But the point of that is not to give up. It's doesn't mean it's a good strategy to play in a way where you tend to have a below-average stack.

Well theres really no right answer but I'll give it a shot

One this is going to sound funny but for me its true I love playing the short stack spent enough time playing with short stacks that honestly my short stack game is probably the most refined part of my game. I play a lot of turbos style tourneys which means a lot more aggressive play because stealing blinds and making moves is neccesary to see the final table. Since it sounds like you generally are playing witha short stack here is what I suggest take your time if you ever bluff at a pot and someone reraises you dont instantly hit that fold button sit ther for awhile let them know hey hes thinking about it he probably had a really good hand. The mentality I like to create at a table is that he always has it. And NEVER show your cards you might like a guy and want to show you had the nuts but dont show. You can tell them what you had but dont show by just saying to someone good fold I had the nuts generally will throw them offthere game cause in poker you generally dont trust what you hear and so now he probably thinks you bluffed him and it sounds like your a tight player so if ppl see you as aggresive advatage you. also in turbo tournaments you need to see as many flops as you can responsibly it means sometiems calling the BB with that Q10 and sometimes not. No matter what I have minus 2/7 offsuit I always call when Im on the button. Amazing how many pots you can sneak when your last to act. Finally this seems to work for me if you decided hey Im going for this flush draw or outside straight draw or whatever it may be instantly call if the player your going against and decide how willing your going to take it cause generally if someone has an ok hand he will bet flop and turn and be downright scared to bet river with how fast you have been calling him which you will be surprised how many times they will check. Now I had no clue what he was betting I was just trying to hit my draw but the check is almost insta sign of like mid pair or something you throw out bet even if you dont hit and can easily steal the pot. Not saying this will work for you but this strategy/play has been quite profitable for me.
