Hello everyone and Happy Holidays. I need some help. I have a pretty small bankroll on 3 different sites that I mainly won through free rolls and built up some. I play a lot of ST Sng's at micro limits ($1 or less). I need someone to point me in the right direction to strategy on micro limit SNG's. I have read some on SNG strategy but it seem to me things play a lot differently at these extremely low limits. Thanks in advance for any help or information.

I play in the micros really tight at first, just protect your chips, the micro sngs seem to move rather fast, you can be on the bubble before the blinds have a chance to affect your stack to much, then you can see some more flops.

I can send you some great info. for sngs if you'd like (just pm me). I'm not so sure how it'd be for super micros.
I'm guessing you're running into alot of stuff where preflop raises aren't respected and 5 want to see every flop.
I would just wait til l had very strong starting hands in the early levels and to size my preflop raises to approx. 5xbb (or 4xbb +1bb for each limper in ahead of you) with hands like QQ KK AK.
In early levels of a super micro, I might not even raise up in position w AK to a bunch of preflop limpers (unless I raise HUGE) cuz I will get called.

Wait for monsters.. then value bet them... you will get paid off. Don't bother with any trappy/tricky crap, if there's a raise (or a min-raise) & call ahead of you & you've got very strong.. .just shove it allin (or make the raise HUGE).

Limp in behind in early levels (in position),.. hands that potentially play well in mult-way pots, then count on your ability to outplay them in post-flop play. If you don't hit.. be done with the hand (ie. on low-med. pkt. prs.,... no set - - no bet).

Almost NEVER bother to bluff... & rarely semi-bluff on flop w draws... unless very strong draws, unless headsup vs. a player you know is capable of folding (although you'll find many who can't fold bottom pr.).

Patience..... wait till you get a good hand... you will most likely get paid off.

GL!!... super micros can be kinda frustrating.

Just go with the flow. If it is a tight some what normal table play a normal strategy of tight aggressive. If you are at a loose aggressive table wait for big hands and over play them. Most likely you will come across the mad limping tables in late position see a lot of flops with drawing hands and when you hit over play them. With the play being so random you just have to play the table until you are in push/shove mode yourself. Best of luck

Hi guys! I need some help!

What would be a good strategy, for playing a micro stakes, 45 man SNG?

I was thinking, play very tight at the early levels, maybe try to get all the money in the middle pre-flop with hands like AQ, AK, since a lot of the donks would be calling with medium aces. It'll be differcult to play flops if I don't hit, because they won't be folding to any bluffs, and will be playing all sort of junk so it'd be differcult to put them on a hand. The problems usually start when the blinds start to get to the 100-200 stage, I usually start to shove with hands that I wouldn't in a normal tournament, cause I don't want to get blinded down.

How can I give myself the biggest edge in one of these tournys?
