Hi guys,

I was in 180man micro SNG, in the button, 12 BB, KJs, 13 players left. UTG with 4BB shoves and the lowjack, with 11BB calls him. He was playing something like 17/6.

I've decided to shove and he showed KK. If he was a total nit I would have folded.

Do you think I should have waited?

Lately I play more aggressive because I hate when the blinds are eating my stack so that's why I shoved.

What is the problem? Do you think that kings are given only full nits? :D
Much more offensive when a maniac plays 69/45 and opens AA.

You already knew he was calling your shove, right?

As for waiting, I'm a nit who believes in "A chip and a chair".
I'm waiting for a different spot to push.

Being a micro SNG, there are people that are doing mistakes. He could also fold:). I have seen this move. But of course there where a lot of chances for him to call.

Anyway, I'm afraid that I'm to aggressive and maybe I could wait with 12BB.

No, but when a nit calls, 90% of the time he has a monster:).

I have seen that this aggressive approach gives me a big variance.

When I was more tight, I remember that I was winning this very easy:). But this was 2 years ago and maybe things have changed and the players got better.

should have folded if you were not in the money, you had nothing in the pot and if LJ called means he has something. You were risking 33% of your stack. If you were in the money then call KJs is pretty strong 6 handed.

You can try different styles of the game - because everything changes. But the game at a particular table often depends on the opponents and the amount of statistics. A few dozen hands are not enough to call a player a nit, maybe he just gets bad cards today.
