April was not a great month for me, I spent most of my time playing cash games for the Take 2 promo, and I was extremely busy with school. This month will probably be worse for volume with finals coming up, :(. But anyway, here goes:

1) play 100 turbo STT's.
2) move up to the $6.50 turbo's on Full Tilt.
3) pass all my classes!

April started off horrible for me but when I switched to FT halfway through the month I was able to recover about half of the losses. So unfortunately and reluctantly I will be playing mostly at FT in May.

I hate it.

Why the hate for Full Tilt Debi? :(

I much prefer the software at PS - but I could learn to get past that if I had to. But playing at FT with no rakeback when nearly everyone else is getting it gripes my ass to no end.

Yeah I could understand the no RB part. Maybe I'll spend some time on Stars this month, hoping my run-good from the CC league will spill over into normal games!

p.s. are we still in second? the score hasn't been updated yet,.

Yea - and what is really bad is that for years they denied me my affiliate benefits and rakeback as well. So I don't like FT and hate that I will be giving them my business.

(Will update the league standings sometime over the weekend)

Well I'm going to try and make May as awesome as March.
Goals for this month:
1.Keep my ROI above 15%
2.Maintain my silverstar status
And last but not least. Try to make 1K profit (this will be the tough one)

Well better to be positive about next month's results right?

I'd be pokerroom-homesick too if I had to switch away from stars now. May May bring you all the good fortune you deserve.

Since I'm clearing a bonus on FeltStars I won't be playing any SNGs this month.

Alright... I started this the last week of April and had a pretty good run that I want to continue into this month.

Goals for the month:
1) 400 SNGs (100 a week, this is so high, for me, because I want silver status)

2) Try to 4 table profitably and maybe 6 table if that goes well.

3) Reach a safe BR for my limit (Ideally 2%, Might already have if my 6th place tie sticks on the Mars pokerstars leader board)

4) Cash something out so that I have a little to show for my efforts.

5) Don't get so caught up in the above goals that I play bad poker. (esp. volume goal)

6) And don't focus so much on poker that I fail my finals... Only one week left of school and its the one that I can afford my slacking ways the least.

I dont really want to make any plans or goals this month. work is, as usual, ridiculously busy, so if i dont feel like playing i wont.

but here are some side goals for the month

1.Play 150 MTsng 45 man's, for a prob bet..
2.Get a good screen recorder and post a video for 9 man sng
3.Two days off starting tommorow, going to city, going to play a LOT of live poker. i expect to play minimum 15 hours over two nights. cant wait.
4.stop wasting time playing side games like 8 game, i really enjoy them, but im not that great at the games.
5.Start playing some sattelites into big MTT events.
6.Get more points for the team in the league

I actually got so burnt out on ring during the take to bonus, I hopped to some small sng's and really sucked for a week. However my luck started to change Friday night, and I haven't played in many but cashed in all but one. May is looking good so far...
So I may actually be starting to get these finally, I am only doing the 1 and 2 table ones at the moment.

Nice job Pooffy on the cashes...I find sngs are an easy way to boost my account...but it does seem to happen in spurts. I just try to be as patient as possible - "lasting" to cash is key for me... I don't pay much attention to 'winning' a sng, as long as I cash I'm happy, of course it's bonus to win it tho... gl this month!

just letting you know, that sng wiz quiz can be teaching you bad habits. just like when you review your session, the sng wiz modelling is really bad, so, if your doing a fair amount of quiz stuff, the situations just arn't realistic, your much better off going through hands you've played yourself.

yes i normally use wizhud and set up specific filters to review my sessions. i'll set a filter for 3+ players, unopened pots and effective stacks of 4-6bbs for example to see if i missed any 4-6 big blinds shoves. when i do the wizquiz i'll make it all bubble hands and really go though every spot they give me it's not about getting it wrong or right it's more about really learning the spot. i adjust ranges, stack sizes, pick different starting hands i do this until i really feel i know what all the different variables do in a given spot. what i was thinking of using the quiz for is mostly is for the super turbos. i've heard if i did a 300 hand quiz everyday i'd get good at the super turbos mostly by doing that alone.

Thinking about giving the $1.40 bounty SNGs a try on PS. From the looks of things, they seem like they're a pretty good deal to build a BR with.

$1 + .25(bounty) + .15(Fee), it's a pretty big rake (40%) but, if my thinking is correct, if you make 2 K.O.'s you're getting that money back and not paying a fee at all...right? And even if you don't finish in the money, you still have an opportunity to gain some back with K.O.'s.

Well, I fell to a 8/9 tie, but its still enough to have this one achieved so long as I am positive this month.

and this week's leader board isn't looking so bad either...
