So after not playing them since the days of the 50 ftp satellite because of limited bankroll... I decided to play again last night.

First game I got my money in with more then the best top pair, nut flush draw yet I got donked out by a lower top pair hitting a shitty kicker.
I ended up in 4th place and was down to $1.55.. (yeah I know that's not BR management but I have no urge to screw with the .1/.2 for winnings.

The second game I played bad the first 10 hands till I got my table image going and played great after that until again I lost with the best hand.. this time I got 3rd and actually cashed $1.80.

I figured ah what the hell I am even still down money so lets play again and I played to perfection until I lost heads up 77 vs KQ.

Now I took a break for a bit after my last finish 2nd place. But before I decided to go to bed I thought well.. I got 4th, 3rd, 2nd then I should get first now right.

Sure enough.. only this time I was controlling the tempo until I took an early bad beat and went on tilt.. I remained calm and the poker gods shined down upon me and I took control of the table easily placing 1st and finishing the 4 game stint 4321.

I don't know if it was simply me just getting used to the sng's again or just simply coincidence that I placed like I did.

Does anyone else have a similar story where it seemed as each new game they played they're ranking became better and better?

Probably...I play 9 at a time so it must've happened somewhere along the line.

That's pretty neat though, congrats

How can you play nine at a time? I would think that is close to impossible unless you are only play top cards and missing a lot of hands while you play at another table.

9 isn't to terrible. Can be for me when every table is flashing cause it's my turn to act. I try to stick to 4-5 so I don't get to frustrated. Usually I do this with double or nothing SnGs on stars. Did 4 this morning at the same time and ended up doubling up on all of them.

I have thought about starting a second double up when I get enough on the first one to be able to coast out. I can see where that would work

I usually play 4 at a time when I do, and cash about 60% of the time. Gotten a lot of 1, 2, 3, 4s and all 1s. Worst is all 2s.
