Final table of a 45 man SNG. Top 7 get paid. I'm chipleader with around 50BB. The guy on my left has 35BB and the guy to his left has 49BB. And both of them have VPIP in the 50s and PFR in the 30s and 40s respectively. Everyone else at the table has less than 10BB and are trying to squeak into the money and are playing extremely nitty. I'm unable to pick up the blinds from the nits because the maniacs are shoving over the top whenever I raise. I'm going card dead and these guys keep on increasing their stacks by picking up the blinds from the nits. What exactly is a good strategy against these kinds of players?

i think you have to be patient, the icm tax is very large with 3 players until the bubble

the 10bb stacks wont last long

Yeah they shouldn't have lasted long. But one uber nit blinded down to around 200 and then went on a crazy heater and ended up becoming the chipleader when it got down to 3 handed. Lol

I'll second TeUnit. Patience. You obviously want to get in on free money available from the short stacks but with two other large stacks that usually have position on you and being more aggressive than you, I find it smart to tighten your range. This way when you do raise and they 3bet light you are more likely to be ahead of them and have a chance of breaking their stack. With 50BB and a full table you can afford to be more patient to find opportunities to capitalize on other players mistakes instead of trying to create or force opportunities.

Well try to imitate them and have a share of those chips likewise.

Sometimes we have to fight back to maniacs and tell them we are not easily being bullied.

I would sit tight and tighten my range of hands. Then when I do hit, I would take maximum value from it.
