Many times, If I get close to the money, where I can make it there without playing a hand. No matter what the hand. I do so.

After making it to the money, I do like lots of players, start playing real poker. lol

Problem being (and this has happened to me many time) a good player is aware of what you are doing. And, take advantage of the situation.

One can "take it to the bank" as to what the good player is going to do under those circumstances.

Another thing, when playing with chatters a lots. You are aware that the good chatter players know what or how you play. So, it is no easy road.

Tend toward the opinion that if your playing to min cash instead of using bubble time to exploit those who are, you are wasting opportunities. If min cashing matters to your bankroll you should be playing smaller buy in tourneys. The significant payouts are usually top few at the final table, that & the experience gained should be your goals.

Just getting in the money is not that important because the last places are usually some small amounts and its not worth it the 4 hours of playing to just "get in the money". If you don't play hands before getting in the money you lower your chances to make it to the real cash because when you finally reach the prizepool and its time to play real poker you will have not enough chips to make it , not mentioning that the blind is so big that it will "eat" you next dealing :D
A good poker player always tries to win the tournament :)
