Figured since they get a cool title so should we ;)

Was happy with results last month, but got simple plans - put in volume and play well! :)

Good luck all in Mini FTOPS too which starts Sunday, going to be fun!

***March MTT Thread***

Well February was a great month due to my big win. But it was no good after it - I struggled the rest of the month.

I like to start off each month fresh - helps me clear my mind of cobwebs and any tilt that might be lingering from a bad run.

I only have a few days to play tournaments til I will be taking a week off. Going to Amsterdam! I might play some on Sunday night though because I have a big freeroll I am qualified to play in. If I do play I will give some thought to playing in the Sunday million since it is $5mil this week. It depends on how rested I am - it is 6 hours ahead there and I will be suffering from jet lag lol.

I think the break will do me good - I will be anxious to resume when I get back.

Then on the 28th it is back to Vegas for some more live tournaments!

Yea - went several years ago and it is one of my favorite places I have ever been.

They have a casino there but the poker room is very very small. I did play in a sng though and will play some again if they are running them.

The Holland government has a monopoly on casinos, I know the rake in Groningen is ridic high :(

Other aim of this month is to keep this thread active and make it rival the Ring Game one!

I cant seem to find a rhythym for end game play in the 4 rush sngs on ftp... gets to like 90 ppl or so w/27 make money and I always seem to just collapse

I use to have a good ROI on these (80%) back when they were 125 players, but now w/the on demand thing I'm having trouble figuring them out

thoughts mtt regs?

Great result dakota! How soft is the $5 quad? I've been playing the $4 quads with far smaller fields which seem OK :)

Wouldn't say that with 27 getting paid and 90 left that you are anywhere near end game personally - I've played them a few times and they seem really soft thanks to them being advertised in the lobby, should play similarly to when they were 125 max but slightly easier :)

Hi Dakota, welcome to the Netherlands.
Anyway, I see this result and was wondering if the great results lately also have to do about you being coached.
Do you think you become a significantly better player because of the coaching ?

ya i guess end game isnt the right term...its more like those last 40 ppl left, somewhere around 70 ppl left w/27 making money,

but i always seem to bust like 45 of 300, something like that haha

maybe I just havent played enough (roughly 20 or so w/cashing in 3 of those)

I use to be good at the 125's but these extra ppl are throwing me off

Congrats!

I've been taking a few days off poker, forced myself to play a bit at the end of last week so catching up with chilling out. Will either play a session tomorrow or start grinding properly again on Saturday if I'm not too hungover :D

So there is some other big tourney going on Sunday? I was planning to win it and pimp my Lambo with some furry dice and a bumper sticker saying my other car is a Skoda.

Well I did add the $11r's last month which resulted in my $6k cash. I can probably start looking at some $22's but honestly I prefer deeper than 3k starting stacks - which is why I like the re-buys. (I know some of them are 3k with re-buy but there is always the add-on later). Going higher than $11 on re-buys is still a bit scary for me -sometimes I have $51 invested in those - even up to $71.

Great result dakota! How soft is the $5 quad? I've been playing the $4 quads with far smaller fields which seem OK :)

I love the $5 2R1A - so many chips hehe. But this is my first final table in it. They are soft enough early on but a lot of this fish donk out before the add-on. There was a mixture on the last 3 tables -some solid mtt grinders for sure -but also some fishies.

Thanks - will arrive there early Sat morning!

Without a doubt coaching has improved my game!!!

I know this isnt the right forum area haha but figured its not worth its own thread.

if my gf starts an account on ftp and than gets bored w/playing (like I know she will :) ) , am I able to transfer those funds to my account so I dont lose them? or will ftp think theres something suspicous and deny it?

btw, its only 200$ deposit too, nothing earth shattering

Yeah should be fine, you might have to provide ID tho.

Will hopefully move up to $5 quads within the next couple of months dakota, thanks :)

How many MFTOPS is everyone playing? I'm away next weekend so missing a couple of the ones on Friday and Saturday but should be playing a bunch of other NHLE ones :)

Just glancing at the schedule think I'll play

Event #1 ($22 superstack)
#25 ($22 HA 6 max)
#44 ($26 6 max knockout)

And hope to sat into the $55 2-7nl and a couple of other nl events
