Due to my job I am not able to play many of the games in WCOOP, so I ended up entering a rebuy and I made it to the torney...not really my game, but anyway :)

$215 Stud H/L...any advice on strategy???

Many thanks

Unreg and take the T$. Nothing to offer as regards stud strategy but someone else might be able to help you out there.

Did not get the choice buddy :(

The sat overlapped the tourney so we got put straight in.

I'm not a bad player, know the game but it is not my normal game - more of a PLO8 player.

I'm thinking tight is right, don't get into too many marginal pots against good player, etc, etc...

Tight is right until you know the players at the table.

Read the board. Believe what you read. There tends to be less bluffing in Stud H/L than in HE, it still exists, but less so IMHO. This is sort of counter intuitive, given the 2 way nature of the game, but it is generally obvious who is going which way, and where you stand. If you are the only person going one way when the board is showing others going the other way, push.

Well, down to the last 80 and guaranteed $360 - not bad for winning an entry with $6 total in the rebuy :)

A little bit, but it is all in or bust now.

I'm happy with 12th and $1,572 :)

Thanks for all of your support Guys.
No idea how to take a screenshot, but the details were...
6th to 7th Sept 2012
WCOOP – 14 - $215 Stud H/L
11th $1,572
Game number - 2012090014
I'm very happy with that after winning my entry through a $2 Turbo rebuy
and I only paid entry, 1 rebuy and the add on...about $6 :)
