I liked "The poker tournament formula" by Arnold Snyder pretty much.
And of course some books of Harrington.
But you also can use the search function of the forum. There are many book recommendations in the forum.

You may want to look at these two books as a good starting point to build your poker foundation.

note: in no specific order

Super System: A course in power poker: By Doyle Brunson
Harrington on Hold'em: Expert Strategy for no limit tournaments vol 1 : by Dan Harrington

good luck with your game.

I'll echo the recommendations for Harrington on Holdem, vol's 1 &2. Even the first read will improve you game a lot (IMO) and the 3rd, 4th 5th etc will solidify the concepts. The books are set up to be great bathroom reading. Depending on your constitution (constipation) you can do as much as a whole chapter at one sitting.!

Seriously tho, they are great for learning tourney poker.

I think that The Theory of Poker by David Sklansky is one of the most important poker books ever written. The first time I read it I didn't pay attention so... years later I am studying the book! There is a thread at Cards Chat that I would invite you to join in: https://www.cardschat.com/forum/learning-poker-57/back-books-theory-poker-sklansky-375355/

Beyond that - I agree with Doyle Brunson and Dan Harrington's books which have already been suggested. I would also recommend looking at some of Johnathon Little's books, most of which focus on small stakes.

Good luck!

Thanks , getting loads of excellent advice already from everyone on the forum. Will check it out. Wasn’t sure what to expect when posting on here as I haven’t used it before. Glad I did. [emoji1303]
