Every time when i play with a lot of players after playing few hours I just starting to lose chips. I dont now why is that. I play just on good hands after few hours and still losing. Is it possible that I am so deconcentrated after long play.

Maybe your opening too light and letting chips fall through the safety net, or your just super aggressive trying to steal pots where/when you shouldn't be. To grasp a deeper understanding of why this is occurring continuously for you you should try to get an experienced player to rail you and pick out your flaws.

Maybe your mind gets tired, making your thinking sloppy. Maybe you get a high self esteem after some won hands, making you play looser and more aggressive without you even noticing it.

If you are not used to focusing for long periods of time then you will start to make mistakes. The more you play for longer periods of time, the more acclimated to it you'll become. Maybe play cash and try to keep extending your playing time a little each time? Or just play some smaller buying tournaments for a while.

Another thing to do is start keeping track of your hands and see what mistakes you are making when you loose chips/bust out. If you start to see a pattern, tr to fix it.

The other alternatives maybe you can opt to play SNGs rather than MTTS,shorter time and less variances.

i have had about the same problems.
It can make you tilty and you can lose more chips and make more mistakes.
Best thing i can do when i feel this coming up is standing up (its not live so you can continue to play ;) ) take a breath and use the time you have. i try to save my descission time as long as possible for fall backs. and just remember,
Fold and live to fold again. -Stu Ungar

For me I can get too tight when having a good playing stack if i am scared of getting a fall back. but i guess its also a fall back ;)

Greats

Yes this happens especially after long grueling hours of play.
It's just part of poker
Players sometimes loosen up later in tourneys and end up winning with ridiculous rag hands.
It's hard to play at times against these player especially when the blinds get higher.
Try going all in with premium hands to show the table that your not afraid to get it all in.
They sometimes see the tight play and use that to their advantage.

That's normal. Blinds are getting higher and higher every hour and if you do 1 mistake in late stages of tournament then your stack size are getting much smaller than when you do mistake on eary stages.
+ other reason maybe is tired, couse it's pretty hard to concentrate on poker 6-7 hours.

As you gain experience and have played many tournaments you can stay for more playing time and will get used to these stages of the tournament

I have a piece of advice and also a question. The question is what do you consider "long" specifically? As in how many hours? Curious as each person has different perceptions and expectations.

The advice is that when I play tournaments, sometimes I am expected to sit for 12-13 hours with a few breaks and one long meal break only. So what i have found is that i need to take my own breaks, stretch my legs, walk a bit. Maybe make an elongated BR break. Just to not feel like a zombie. This is specifically for Live trnys.

When playing Online, i feel the strain even more. The fatigue on the eyes is worse, the feeling that "you cant miss a hand" is even greater for some reason, since the whole poker universe fits.on one tiny screen, with access at yoj fingertips...literally.
So when i play Online, and i have been successfully stacking chips for some time, i will often leave the screen early before a scheduled break. Ill play my "free" hands wait till i get on the button and then get up with an extra 5 mins to just, BE.
To be one hundred percent honest the age olde adage, you cant win a trny in one hand, but you sure can lose it in one stands true to me.

In this perfect example: i got home at 1 am and played a trny online to "wind down" from work. I crushed the first 3 hours. Then i took a "nap" i.e. fell asleep for 75 minutes. When i awoke, i went from top 3 stack, to bottom 5. But we were only 14 players left.

I wound up winning that trny, and got over 3000% ROI. I am SURE the fact i had a little snooze in the middle of the trny refreshed me and had me feelkng refreshed, while my opponents were just counting the minutes till they were done.

It sounds like you are not making the adjustment between early and mid-game to late-game play. As the game progresses, you have to play more situational and vary your plays.

Maybe you are playing too tight and the blinds are chipping your stack slowly.

The longest that I've played (online or live) a tournament was eight and half hours. I was so excited to still be in, never noticed being tired. I don't play cash games so I'm not sure how long sessions affect play.
