Looks like there were protecting there 2-7 os on the BB. Part of the Super Hero's group from another poker dimension sent to protect the blinds at all cost!

How long did they last in the tournament?

There was ALOT of this... along with alot of huge overshoves on flop.. 10x pot etc.
I had another hand come up shortly after this one
HJ raised 3x.. I have JJ in BB... but SB HUGE overshove 100+bb's.. I fold (but only because I was concerned with HJ's hand... not SB's.. no doubt they held AK/AQ).

Looking back I wished I'd made both of the calls (maybe not the 2nd one due to HJ still to act... they actually folded.. 10-10 I find out after).

Later I actually get decimated.. 5wy pot I'm in BB.. I turn a flush.. SB leads out small.. I shove.. 2x pot (yah.. big overshove.. only gonna get called by hands that beat me.. right?)... nope.. guy calls with Khi.. fldrw.. & rivers it.. lol.

THe microdonkaments on Stars... you get a real mix of players (~1/3 of the table are MTT regs., playing buyins from $3-$25 range, some higher)... and others who don't have the first clue (just saw a guy snapcall a 4bet shove.. 100bb pot with ATo... lol & he wins!!!) < this is good for poker though for sure.. (if he actually makes it itm).. keeps his acc't full of buyins for more deadmoney in the next ones he plays.

... anyways.. pt. of post being, I really think it's not worth it to give up value in early levels in these donkaments. AK was an ez call vs someone shipping there. Having some kind of player read also helps a bunch.

MP on 40bb 50/100.. raises in eMP.. fish in CO 3bets to 850.. eMP 4bets allin.... fish snapcalls with ATo.. vAK.. & wins, lol.
Very next hand, Fish 3bets again but this time with A8o. MP checks flop w overpr. QQ.. fish leads out nr pot.. MP chk-Rs's big.. fish calls... then calls trn shove... hits A on river (knew his Ace was good, lol.... afterall.. he gots da Acezzz)

You have to be so patient in those to make deep runs. You were good to fold that with what chips you had in (2.5% of your stack), also what happens to the guy on the button? You push, button pushes too, now in a three way pot early on at risk.

Save it, couple breaks go bye, and most of those players are weeded out, have possiblly some table history to better make that decision. At least I'd feel better about shoving in with them then.

I know...It's insane how some people play. Like u said tho. It's good for the game in the long run. I just hurts when your on the other side of a donk out and on low levels that can be often...Sometimes I think it can even cause my game to degrade. I have a tendency to overplay against donks. I'm trying to be more aware of that. Gotta stay disciplined and patient.
