Length of the Break if You Have Already Played 5-6 Hours?

If I've played so long, I'm so in the tunnel, so I do not take a long break. It is then only the given 5 minute breaks.

But I should probably take a longer break, because I notice the results that I already play weaker.

I think that you need to make a poker room offer. After every 3 hours of play, do 10 minutes break a, 6 hours and 20 minutes.

The idea I find very good.

Perhaps it should be defined with even greater time jumps.

What do you think about the idea?

For 5-10 minutes you do not have time to relax at least a little after 5-6 hour game session. Warm up the body - 10 minutes, eat - another 15-20 minutes, 30 minutes to sleep or lie down with your eyes closed and relax. Those. Somewhere an hour or so there should be a break and only then you can expect that your concentration and attention will at least be restored and will not be too much reflected in the results of your game.

Problem of playing in tournaments - you do not have so much time for a break. Only 5 minutes for everything.

If you are playing cash games, very easy to take breaks when you need to. Maybe a 10-15 minute break every 2 hours, even a short walk outside for some fresh air. If you are a tourney player it is difficult to get bigger breaks, unless you are just doing sng you could be playing for 4-10 hours. Maybe stop registering at a certain time and if you bust out of everything take an hour break before registering more. Or if you happen to have a deep run then just call it a day once that finishes

Yeah, just tournaments have that big problem of time control. After that long session you must take atleast 1 hour break to eat and relax. So, if you play long tournaments you just have to sacrifice.

The fact is that for such a long time playing in the tournament you get tired not only you, but all the other participants) It turns out that everything is in the same conditions, and more likely to win will be more sustained)

10 minutes break after 4 hours of playing it would be perfect for me :) I like this idea . I really am tired after 4 hours or 3 hours at night many times , and this affects my decisions . A bigger break to relax and do sth different would be awesome

It's over after 5 hours of play you need to rest at least 1 hour, the problem is that in MTT tournaments you have only 5 minutes for every hour ((Being at the computer for 5-6 hours without a break is very harmful for health, especially for the eyes, for this Time is decreasing your concentration and concentration so do not play more than this time so as not to hurt yourself!

I like to stipulate my daily sessions.

Programming the time and what I will play, even being focused on MTT and thinking about FTs the game has to have a limit and the rest is important

If I play long stretches, I usually binge play, then stop once I feel like I'm hitting a wall. However, if I'm playing a tourney and I bust, I like to give myself at least a 15-20 minute break before I decide to continue with more of them. I know I probably don't give myself enough rest time, but when I'm in the zone it's hard to stop. Unfortunately with tourneys I find I suffer burn out a lot quicker and I find it a lot harder to concentrate, than if I were playing cash games. I'm beginning to think for that reason, I probably should be playing more cash to take advantage of the flexibility they provide.

Fatigue makes itself felt, I try not to play tournaments for more than 5 hours! Start to take unconscious actions.

I think that if you pretend to play a long MTT, you have to plan it before doing so, like sitting out for some time during low blind play, or extending some minutes on each break. But as you get used to playing it, you'll adapt yourself to the game and become able to stay hours playing the game continuously without problem. One other thing that can help the performance is those yelloe glasses, cause they avoid complete exposion to the screen lights, so your vision doesn't get hurt in the long run

If the game is about 5 hours the 5 minutes breaks are enough. After that it depends of the contition you are.

I guess It helps that Im used to spending a whole day in front of a PC as thats what I grew up doing. That helps to keep me focused but If you are not used to It, and get tired, try to start most of your tourneys at the same time to avoid a very long session.
