I have observed that late registration makes me less tense because the number of difficult decisions to make is much smaller, logically you start with the number of chips well below average. What do you think?

Of course somehow it is like you say, but it also lowers your chance to observe other player's game style longer. So for me it has also some disadvantages. You also can miss some opportunities to win chips or double up. Furthermore you are faster under pressure to make decisions as your stack is not so big at your start.

i personally prefer tournaments with no rebuy so it suits for me to register later when that expires :)

I don't mind the loose field at the beginning. Also able to gather history more you are at the table.

Hello.
I think it is absolutely not important. If you play poker well, then it does not matter if you registered in the tournament from the beginning or during the game.

I like the beginning hands of the game, low blinds and big mistakes. those are the recipes for building a huge stack early on.

in my opinion I like tournament delays for a simple reason I can not start when the blinds are low and make a comfortable pile, then the blinds are adding up and entering the weaker masters with 10 bb or more 15 bb this is the time that they despair and we can add to our stack without error from them ... what do you guys think of that?:five:

Late registration is good for 15 mins so long as the blinds go up. I like hyper blinds game goes so much faster. I hate long games.

I prefer to enter the beginning of the tournament and have more moves inside the game with the blinds .... building a stack and having some problem with actions in the tournament, stay away for a while.

I agree with whiskers77, although I do not deny I always like to register a bit late in the tournaments but as long as: the extended registration is 3 hours and obviously it is not a turbo tournament, if it complies with what I want, I register when it takes 1 hour - 1 h 20 m, I think that with such an extensive record I mention many mistakes when I risk for few chips, but if it is true that you would have more pressure for the amount of chips that your opponents will have compared with yours, with respect to the little opportunity to observe your opponents I do not strongly agree as it looks like when a player is changed tables you must start again to read the players

Well, I wanted to say that you're not the only one. Often entering late register is a way to play your "A" game, when most players are already a little bored, or a bit confused after several difficult decisions. Allied to this has the fact that you have one hour less tournament than them, this after 5, 6 hours ends up making a difference at the time of the bubble for example.

I don't like to late register usually. Just my personal preference I guess though.

I don't like to late resgister usually. However, this is my personal preference. I like to see as many hands as I can in a game. Any of these hands I could possibly gain chips.

You're right, my friend. Thank you very much. You listed other disadvantages that I had not analyzed.

Thank you very much for your opinion. Actually late registration puts you in a situation where you will have to make fewer decisions, but in larger pots in relation to your number of chips.

Okay, but there are days when the player is not willing to spend so many hours playing and in these cases it is best to enter late.

Yes, you are right, but the stress level is lower if the player enters late on days when he is unwilling to spend many hours in a tournament.

I agree with you, but I'm talking more about the strain of having spent hours playing and stressing in a few moments rather than making fewer decisions and bigger pots.

It's a good concept, I'll enjoy that in my style of play from now on. Thank you very much, I hope I can talk again.

OK, thank you very much. I respect your opinion, but I ask you to analyze the variables and test what I say, at least eventually.

Great. I'm like that too, tournaments that last almost all day are very stressful for me. I totally agree with you.

Yes, this is a big advantage without a doubt, the problem is the time it takes to see this all happen, whereas in a single decision when the pots are bigger, and can provide the same result.

This may be because of the pots that are larger and in this case you will suffer less wear and tear because you will have to make fewer decisions to build a large stack of chips.
