Back when US players could play on PokerStars
, I joined their Sunday million once after the first break. My reason was to avoid a lot of the loose play early. Blinds were still fairly small, the average chip stack was less than12,000 (compared to my 10,000 starting stack) and by that point, more than 1,000 players had already gone out. It only took me a few hands to win a decent-sized pot to get back up above the chip average. I wound up finishing 63rd in the tournament and winning more than $2,500 - my biggest payday on Stars. Ah, the good old days.
