Was the play correct on this hand or would it play differently?

Over all i would have gone broke as well getting it all in on the flop here most likly. Without more details on the player it makes it hard to say thought. What was your thoughts on that player. If is was loose and very aggressive I would have call his raise as well. If he was uber tight I would have folded to his flop shove since we are deep enough here. The one thing i would have done differently here is bet smaller on the flop. one thing on the flop is its not to wet and I dont want him to fold to my hand if he hit a 9 or a six here

He would be shoving on the flop regardless of the bet it seems.. just one of those fun spots in online poker where the small blind hits their miracle on the river.

One option would have been to fold. Fearing that he had already hit a set with the flop. Now the knowledge about the player becomes very important. It has to be weighed whether he is bluffing or not. I probably would have called. And in the end you see that every now and then luck decides.

There are spots where you play correctly and go allin being much ahead, but opponent hits his outs and there's nothing you can do.
