I thought about creating an stt thread for January after I got back up north last week, but I saw all kinds of people seemed to have their own challenge and tracking threads that I wasn't sure if it would gather any interest.
Just had a session of 6 KO's, cashed all but 1 but no wins (four 3rds, 1 second) and few KO's (3 KO's for 6 stt's, granted the one I lost was within the first couple of hands AK hearts). I was starting to wonder why it felt like the last game was taking forever and turns out it was regular and not Turbo FML lol. Seems after I switched some filters last night i went to regular instead of turbo and didn't notice when i reged today. At least it was a winning 85 minutes of my life LOL.
Obv I'm in so I'll post a brag the next good run of KO i put on folks in a ko stt. Had an odd one earlier went to heads up with even chips of like 7k on a guy but i had no KO's he had 6, he was a major LAG and got lucky against me to knock me out.
Yeah true about us having our own threads but its nice to start and keep the monthly ones going too i think ..Might get more interest with hand historys in here coz more stt guys that dont have a thread could get in here...
never hurts i'm sure it will get some interest
3 ko's in 4 games...you're slacking man, get your finger oot ....Cashing in 4 is excellent though......didnt know you played turbo ko's...although i should have guessed lol...
It was 3 KO's in 6 games, of which I cashed 5. Just wasn't getting any great cards but kept my stack alive through. Given I was so overall card dead it was probably a good thing that they were not turbo's
regular ko's dont take that long either, sometimes under an hour and the others just over...
turbos are usually around the 50 min mark, I find the reg's are 75 min+ to finish
whats the difference in strat that you use between the two? might do the turbos myself when i get a bigger roll if i can get a few tips on what i need to change from the regs...
difference being the blinds means they get big quicker so you approach various stages of the mtt quicker and obviously have less time to wait for hands so being apt in a good push/fold strategy towards the larger blinds is necessary
did you go for thin value against the lag HU?....Maybe better keeping the pots quite low until you hit the flop hard then pump it up....and auto shove pre the premiums...they usually call with their A4'S.
i know its mid jan but theres no stt thread and quite a few of us play the knockouts and rush games...so come in here for a brag, post yer hands, get some tips and tell us yer beats......1 beat per day per hero.....anymore than that and i'll have to put you in the ignore list.
