So tonight I went to my local casino to play a 30€ buy-in MTT. We got 4k chips and 25-25 blinds.

I was a little nervous vecause I didnt know what to expect in a live tournament. I usually play mtts in pokerstars and lately I've been running pretty good, cashing most of the times.

I've been playing poker seriously for only half a year so I just play basic ABC poker and rarely blufing unless I have good reads.

With that same strategy in mind I played the tournament, 2h later I busted out on a rebuy and I left.

I noticed the following playing in two different tables:

- People call 3-bets with mediocre hands
- People going all-in in dry flops
- I found it harder to size my bets, probably because I'm not used to having to count chips :D

I'd love if anyone with experience in live mtts could give me some advice on how to overcome those problems. Thanks.

Realised the same when I was playing with some friends. So I started keeping track of how much everyone was putting in the pot and adding it up.
Only downside is that like this I have less CPU left in my brain for calculating my equity.

Yeah I did try that! Was spending like 2-3 min figuring out how much to CB in some hands haha
