Do I sit back and wait for the double up or slowly start trying to pick off pots with marginal hands and increase my stack slowly but surely. If the cards don't come we are screwed right. Is this the time to turn on the aggression and 3 bet with weak hands out of desperation? Or do we just keep waiting and hoping that this is our turn to get lucky and get those kk or aa. Any contributions would be greatly appreciated.
Both. What you should be doing is stealing the blinds whenever possible. You wont be able to win tournaments on the merits of good hands alone. You need to steal in the late stages or face getting blinded to death because monster hands just don't come around often enough.
You should be willing to play a lot looser than KK OR AA. You should raise with most pairs in position.
Also raise with your aq's and aj's. When your m is small your raising requirments have got to loosen. It's that simple.
