Couldn't find another one started so I guess I'll do it.

My goals for the month of July are-

-Work on my tilt issues (been having a horrible couple of weeks and it's showing
-Quit trying to mix in $5 games and just stick with $2 games until I beat them
-Play 75-100 games per week
-Have several good sessions with my coach about my post flop game

Wish you all the best of luck this month!

Just one goal for me, i was planning to take up limit holdem, as i thought id get more time off work. But as it turns out, ill be spending more time there!

Anyways the goal is breaking into the top 20 for total profit in the $2-$5 turbo 9 man games on sharkscope. Im about ~$100 away from that goal, so that translates into around 250 games at my current ROI(12%).

Oh, and also, if i find time, i want to make a SNG Wizard video.

lol i read your name earlier in another thread. i reviewed some our hands and will post a few in the next few days. i tagged you as red earlier. red just means a multitabling player(possibly a reg.). anyway i came accross a few spots that may be of interest. im also on skype as cardplayer52 if you ever want look me up(or any other CCr for that matter). i'll happily sweat you or have you sweat me. if you see me at a table and you sign up for it -EV play right there(lol). BTW love the screen name.

If you are talking about hands from earlier today, you might not want to bother. I've been on a horrible downswing and way below EV and it all culminated today when I loaded 4 tables and the first hand I got AA. I got it all in pre-flop against QQ and KJo and KJo pulled off the win by catching a J on the flop and one of the river. After that, I figured I might as well just play like a spewtard. No sense in trying anymore. Funny thing is I cashed in 3 of the next 4.

But yeah, I'm totally up for some sweat sessions. I'm back to normal now!:D I'll add you on skype (my s/n is krokieman).

I'm strictly playing $2 SnG's now. With this latest downswing, I can't cover the $5's any more.

I'm moving back to Tilt after playing on Stars for the prop bet, gonna play the $6.50 turbo's, starting with 30bi's which is a little low... I'll just run good imo.

No real goals for this month, just to play when I have time... When I come back from camp next month, I'm gonna invest in SNGWiz, TableNinja, and probably a training site... I'm gonna increase my volume by a ton in the upcoming months.

i'd research but not sure the table ninja for fulltilt is all that great(it not the stars version). but if your playing at fulltilt make sure to signup for trulyfreepokertraining.com it's somewhat free(only got to put in volume), but well worth it. you can also purchase cardrunners from ftps which is nice what i did is earn a week at tfpt.com then bought a 3 month booster with ftps.

Been a while since I've taken part in one of these, what the hell.

Going with my usual goals:

1 - Play lots
2 - *shrug*
3 - Profit

I'm trying to make bronze Ironman for the first time ever this month as well - maybe silver if I do really well, will depend on how much time I get. GL all :)

Is there other multi-tabling software that I can use with FTP?

i think "poker shortcuts" is free for fulltilt and as far a i know table ninja is no longer free. there are also hotkeys if you google around. but i know for sure table ninja is awesome for pokers stars. you can keep x number of games open at all times(not sure if tilt's ninja does this or not). i play tons of tables and the hardest part is keeping registered for new games as i drop tables. dont take me as an authority on this stuff i don't use any software but if ninja has the table opener for fulltilt i'd consider buying it.

I'm using the trial for FT Table Ninja right now and I don't remember seeing it, but I'll check. I didn't know that was an option, so I wasn't looking for it.

btw, does anyone know how to keep the FT lobby from opening up when a SnG opens? I thought I used to have it set that way, but now I can't find it.

Edit: Just checked and Table Ninja FT does have an auto replay feature that brings up a lobby after you bust out of a tourney. And if you have auto buy in selected, this should keep you from having to do anything. Is this what you were looking for?

Okay, I'm about to go to bed but I keep forgetting to post this.

I'm looking for someone who wants to join up and talk strategy 2-3 days a week for the low limit SnG's. We could do this on Skype and use Team Viewer to watch HA's. I want someone who is serious and is only playing SnG's at this level. I would also appreciate it if you had HEM, but PT3 would work. Send me a PM on here or my Skype name is Krokieman.

Stars ninja is awesome, i dont use it much, but i use it to load my games, plus i like the on screen BB display. The tilt one is kind of basic, it doesnt have the table opener and i dont think it ever will, not worth the $$ i don't think. especially when the tilt software is quick anyway, you can get away with just stacking your tables, no need for hotkeys. it can be handy for annoyances though, thats my favourite part about ninja.

Im free on monday/tuesday, but not all the time, but every now and then sure im happy to talk about strat, happy to sweat you in a game as well, i play only turbo's, im not as good at the non turbo games, but crushing the low level turbos simply requires a basic strat, and good ICM decisions with shoving and folding. Plus i have a few tricks that i use to get more fold equity.

Try stacking your tables, you will be able to play a heap more at once, plus you won't need the hotkeys. The problem with tiling is that you have to move the mouse around heaps, i used to prefer tiling as i liked to see action/keep notes. Lately i have been only stacking, as theres something wrong with my eyes, i cant focus on the screen properly. I can still input notes, when i do my review i make notes on players and input them straight into stars, works out pretty well. Give it a try anyway, it's like playing a video game... it can get crazy if and when you start playing loads of tables, when you have 25 tables going, and your getting down to 5 handed, you have like 3-4 seconds to make your decisions..

Put it this way, i can play maximum 15 tables tiling, or 25-30 stacking.. Hell, i want to grind this month, im getting the itch to really start playing again... might try for 1k games.. :D

i looked on the ninja's site and it does seem they have the table opener for fulltilt. but if you play at stars you need to look into "HAY GUYS" this seems to be the cats meow. it's low level programing so you dont get the lag as you would from hotkeys. it also takes care of some "focus" issue when switching tables or starting new tourneys. it also allows you to play poker with an xbox controller. and yes stacking is the key to multitabling!!! it not only helps with the mouse movement. it also helps me follow the action better than tiling. i also keep the last hand replayer open on another monitor so if i want to see the action of a certain hand(how it played out after i folded or if i got called and by what hand) i just click last hand and wait till the hand is through and watch it. 16 tables not an issue but keeping them loading can often cause me to time down and sometime feel rushed into making desicions too quickly and misclicking as well. i'm waiting for this "hay guys" to come out with thier fulltilt version to take care of tilts focus issues(new table opening will take focus and lag me).

This definitely sounds interesting to me, and something I *need* to do if I can just set aside the time. I have HEM and love it, but I can never seem to motivate myself to spend enough time using it as an analytical tool rather than a HUD and winrate tracking tool. I've got LeakBuster but it's only for cash and even when I play primarily cash I don't take the time to use it like I should.

I got a lot out of my sweat session with WVH several months ago, who also went over my HEM stats with me after the session. These are are definitely helpful, just to have another set of eyes to point out the obvious (where you *know* it was wrong to play it that way, but you couldn't stop yourself or admit it).

I swing back and forth between cash and MTTs/SnGs and right now I'm in the latter phase. I prefer cash but tend to go overboard with 12 tabling and chasing losses, so moving to tourneys for awhile helps me slow down and rethink things. Also having to do the necessary gear changing helps keep me fresh. By far my largest poker profits have come from tourneys.

I don't think poker shortcuts has worked at FTP (or at least it has been real buggy) since the update of the FTP software last year. Granted I haven't looked at shortcuts in a while so someone may have updated it since they went open source.

I've been using Hjalper on PS and am in love with it. Can't wait for them to get a FTP version.

so far this month:
julysofar.jpg

I've been running really well (granted over a small sample size) and know that it can't continue.

The funny thing is I'm doing this well and can't seem to win as a 4-1 favorite (or at least it seems that way. I'd love to find a filter in HEM that could show me).

Filter your stats by expected value in the Tourney> Results> Stats tab, galloping.

But I wouldn't complain too much. Here's my graph (even though it's starting to turn around now). Not pretty!
