This is a discussion on Jacks under the gun within the online poker forums, in the Tournament Poker section; Hey,
with just M=4 left and 2 players away from the money. How would you play jacks under the gun when the hand before you
M=4 is dead zone. Generaaly people will be wating for some1 to bust so г hoppin g for better times is kinda a bad strategy. In addition You want to win and a good duble-up could give you some good chanses. And if as you say every1 is so nitty on the bubble you should open up even more as you have a lot of folds so stealing blinds is a good strategy.
IMO ofcourse =)

Just go all-in again and don't over-think it.
Sure a min cash would be nice but you can't fold premium hands (and cost yourself a chance at building your stack back up) to get there! This is a great spot to get it in ahead and get back into the tournament.
Yeah you'll be flipping some when called and can run into bigger pairs, but you will be posting a big chunk of chips in the blinds the next two hands and will have even more of an uphill battle.
Good luck to you!

Thanks for your answers.
I totally agree to deadzone and the premium hand. However in the situation I decided just to raise 3bb to avoid being all in before the flop just in case the flop showed multiple overcards. The button called. Flop saw Q64 no suits. I went all in quickly for 3/4 of the pot, button called with AK. Maybe I should have waited a bit before going all in, as it might have been perceived as "stealing".
The button called my all in to see an Ace on the turn. (That's painful).
What would you have done?

I dunno if id push all in here, though id want to. Maybe a 3.5x bb raise and if anything higher than a J comes check/fold. 3.5x bb might even be enough to steal the blinds...
