my natural play style is agressive, i raise and re raise alot which makes people overplay there hands by showdown, however when in small - micro stakes it can still help, but usually the best play style is to play tight and agressive simply because the players play too many hands, and dont need you to do this to get paid off..... however if in a MTT the table is sitting tight you have to adapt your game and loosen up a bit
so yes it is normal to drift back into a playing style, because its a playing style that works for you,
and remember the basics, even though in a MTT you should be sitting tight, this is only whilst so many people are being loose at the start, the moment they start to tighten up, you loosen up
yea this especially works for me in standard blind mtt's 45 man and less, simply by playing solid and in position there often is a spot where someone bets into you or they make big leaks by playing dominated hands putting themselves into tough spots,
generally when I go card dead or dont get any good spots I find myself going into auto pilot folding etc reluctant to get the cards in the next thing you know its final table and im need of a hand.
I know in theory all I can do is target players and spots, but guess its my concentration, so focused on clicking buttons lol.
