Interesting to ponder...(freeroll's "pre" bubble strategy)

Hey, all! Just playing 100 millions freerolls can touch up on the idea about what right move I need to do NEAR the prizes.

So plz, I want to know your thoughts about this ideas:

- no even 2bb raise only call bb with good but not enough strong hand for all-in(cause if someone want all-in to double up, you can loose little chips)

- If you'r chip leader on the table you can call LITTLE stack all-in with K9o, QTo, 9Ts+ and something like that.

Well, in my opinion the freeroll's, using as exemple from pokerstars, only worth if you finish in 1st or 2nd, some of they if you got until the 5th you gain something too, how exemple this:

PokerSchool Open League: 1st - $ 5,59 // 2nd - $ 1,02 // 3rd - 0,72
bankroll MOB: 1st $3,93 / 2nd $2,60 / 3rd - $1,94 / 4th $1,45 / 5th $1,00

The unique freeroll has real good player is the Cardschat, the others have some much loose players...

So... I was saying for you go to the FT and get 1st - 3rd you need to play tight/agressive, AND know who is scarry in the bubble for you stollen the blinds, because a lot of people in this stage is low stack, and fold everything just for get ITM.

I dont say about CardsChat freerolls, I mean freerolls for example in microgaming network (RedStar, 24hBet and so on..) when 1200 players and 100$ garanteed.

And about your advice playing Tight and Aggressive ... you know, better play loose agressive in start of the tourney, cause when blind small you can grow the pot using small bet to see more calls from opponent. Then make Cbet and watch who and how fast will call...better see all folded of course =))

In a normal tourney (not freeroll), most successful players will play super tight early, loosen up their range midway through (especially if they have been at a table long enough to get some reads on villains), and then decide how to play the bubble based on their chip stack. Freerolls, imo, due to the large number of hyper-aggressive players at the beginning, mean that you can go super tight for the first few levels or try to make a move early on with decent equity (If you have anything above JJ+ I would go for it). It's a time investment versus the money payouts consideration. Chipping up early is in your best interest if you can pull it off. If you are playing a freeroll with a decent payout structure, then treat it more like a real tourney. If it is one of those 5% make the money, then I would take the more aggro approach.
