I don't know about you guys but, don't these step tourneys really help you practice bad BRM? But what can you do because you cant do anything else with them.

Currently @ Step 4 ($72+3)

So I gotta win 4 more SnG's or at least place 4th or better. (Step 4 - 7)

Then Next Up:
Step 5 (Sup Turbo)- $209+$7 - 4th or Better to Maintain or Advance
Step 6 (Sup Turbo)- $625+$15 - 3rd or Better to Maintain or Advance
Step 7 (Sup Turbo)- $2060 + $40 - 3rd or Better to Maintain or Advance
Step 8 - $12,000 wsop Package

But OMG this is so freaking bad because technically "Yes I got there by starting with $3" but, a loss now would reflect negatively via tracking sites such as sharkscope (sites like that because I blocked myself from them) even though all I've invested is $3.

For some reason feels like I'm playing with scared money but all I can do is keep moving forward right?

You dont have to keep playing. You can use the step 4 or which ever one is 26 as tournament tickets.

pretty much, unless you wanna play a tournament of equal value which you can always do.

I think MTTs are too high variance to make that a logical solution vs a SnG though...

Oh well I'm going to go for it in the time I stalled and debated this guy I played with in step 3 already won a freaking seat.

They have $75 sngs. Also, if you play a matrix then you could almost guarentee that you get some money. That's what I would do, GL on whatever road you go though.

I was sitting with a player on my table the other day (super turbo steps, a step1) and had seen him on a few of my other tables. He'd only played 88 9plyr. sng's, hand an ROI near +300%. I thought.. wtf? All from super turbo steps.. he'd won a MnEv. pkg. & took 2nd in another, had booked his flight and was picking up some spending money. Not too bad.
Obv heater.
Those super turbo step sng's are generally really tight in early levels (as they should be) compared to reg. super turbo sng's.. but you'll still see some retarded calls (ie. shove in early levels with AK.. have guy calll you down with J3s, etc. etc. I think almost all of my losses in those have been from pushing monsters in early levels & losing to ridiculous calls... I genearally fold <AT unless in LP in early levels.

Any updates for us on the Step run? (have you moved up past 4 yet?).
I don't think it'd negatively affect a rating on SS (or others)... I mean a loss would just cancel out a win.. so it'd even itself out.
