not required to be a big bluffer in any game really, but you cannot be afraid to semi bluff with a hand like a str8 or flush draw to get money in the pot for when it hits ect. a lot of times you can take the pot down without hitting the str8/flush. Passive type play can a will be exploitable if that is how you always play, must sprinkle in some aggression every now and then.

You didn't write on what stakes, but I am guessing that you are talking about micro, right? :)

As for tournaments, definitely some slow or regular tournaments, preferably deep stack. Avoid turbo and hyper, because you have to play aggressively (blinds increase to quickly to be passive). As for cash, I am not really sure ;)

But also, if you want to be better at poker, you need to work on your weaknesses even more than on learning new things. Can you actually write more on why do you think you are not the good bluffer? Do you mean semi bluffs or pure air bluffs? (The latter are used much less in poker than some people tend to think, your bluffs should mostly be semi bluffs)

Poker is a game of bluffing. If you are not bluffing then you don't belong playing the game. The foundation of poker is bluffing. If you do not understand this, you should probably be playing another game.

When u get tired of losing you will start introducing bluffing into the mix, u can only get good cards so often and it can be rare at times to even get action with those good cards if your playing tight , so u need to represent having good cards even if u don't and bluffing is how you do that, using position and your. Chip stack. Figure out which opening. Range of cards you like and start exploring thst

You have to work in semi and complete air bluffs or you will be just a fit or fold player and good players will see this and exploit you to the max. But you do not have to be like a maniac and barrel 3 streets with 3/9o after 5x raising from cutoff. pick and choose good spot to bluff if need be and the board dictates a good chance of villain folding better.

try a 3/6 limit because that way you never get bullied out of a pot and you can improve the bluffing without losing a bunch

I suggest freerolls. You don't have anything to lose. Good luck :)

Freerolls are nice to gain experience and also any type of limit game would also be good for your proposed style of play.

I would suggest playing long blinds like 20 to 40 min blinds with deep stacks. be careful early on in deep stack tourneys like that. you will definitely get in trouble in hyper turbo stuff.

yeah hyper turbo stuff you have to be able to bluff someone off better hands as you won't get enough premium hands to keep your stack from bleeding away from the blinds. Stealing blinds with weaker hands and pushing people off better hands on good runouts that hit your perceived range hard is a must to stay alive in a hyper turbo.

I also agree that it would be better to start with freerolls as you do not have anything to lose!!!! Good luck!

Bluff basically when they play for money. There are fewer freerolls. There are enough inadequacies and young players who will answer you. I try not to bluff.

You do not need to choose tournaments where you do not need to bluff, you need to learn to bluff.

If you are not using a bluff in poker, then I suggest to use a reverse bluff. For example: you have a pair of kings, and the flop came AK7 rainbow. You assume that the opponent has collected a pair of aces or even two pair - aces and kings. At the moment you have more than a strong hand – set in poker. If you force your opponent to think that you're bluffing, you will earn a large amount of chips.

Keep a tight game. I also do not like to bluff a lot, I keep my game calm. You do not necessarily need to bluff. It's better to play quietly.
