Hello all,

I have been exclusively playing ignition's Triple Up Sit n Goes recently. I am doing this because as we all know the variance is a lot less with these games. I am at a 37.5% win rate after 24 games. This percentage is just under what it needs to be to break even. I started this personal challenge with $51.20 in my account and after 24 games at the $3.30 buy in level my bank roll is sitting at $49.70. Although I am slowly loosing money, I get to play lots of these tournaments, I get to work on plugging my leaks and improving my game. I am so close to beating this game. In fact all I need to do to make a consentient profit is improve my win rate from a 37.5% to a 40% win rate. That is doable. If my next game is a win then after 25 games my bank roll will be sitting at $55.40 for a win rate of 40% and a net profit of $4.20(Shaaaww 420 bro aaawww). Obviously I want to do better than just barely eaking out a profit though.

The idea is this. If I can win enough to build my bank roll up to $83 I have 25 full buy ins. I feel like this is a reasonable place to set my bank roll budget because so far it looks like out of 25 games I should probably be able to turn a profit. That being said, if I can keep my win rate constant or maybe even improve on it I will be able to maintain my bank roll and use what ever money I win beyond the $83 to free roll in some of the bigger buy in multi table guarantee payout tournaments. If I cash in one of those, then straight to the bit coin payout process and viola I am making money playing online poker. If I loose after entering into one of the bigger buy in tournaments, no big deal. It was a free roll anyways. Back to the triple up grind.

Now like I said already in this post, my win rate is just under what it needs to be at to turn a profit right now. I have searched this site and many others trying to find the best strategy for a triple up style game. If you are honestly a winner at these triple up games what is your strategy? I have tried different strategies at different times. Some times it seems best to come into the game with a lo-ball approach trying to steal pots when you can, while dodging weaving past people playing back at you until you get that monster then BAM, shove and double up. I have tried the rock tight method with the oversized bets that somehow always seem to get called. I have tried straight forward ABC Fit Fold poker. Each game calls for a different approach depending on the dynamics of the individual table and the players in the game, but what is your go to approach with these triple up games? Help me win please and thank you.

I think that the nature of poker is looking at the long term. 25 games is great but not long term by any means. To say that anything above the 83 dollars is freeroll is not how I would describe it. If your variance is staying low in the tripple ups then keep playing them and profit there IMO. Also nature of those tables is yes you play differently in every game because all the players are different. I would think most of the time ABC poker would work if the blinds arent super fast.
