What question should I ask myself or in other words what should I think about when my check-raise on the flop with the best hand gets called by aggressive opponent.?
When thinking what to do on the turn -In order to make the best profitable decision I already know couple of things that I should think about :

My image/range and tendencies ..

Ability level of my opponent his range/image and tendencies.

The number of scary cards that can come on the river and outdrawn my hand.

My main question is.. Are there situations in which it would be better to just check on the turn after our check-raised been called on the flop. (from my point of view it doesn't make sense you show strength and than weakness ).

Thanks for the advice

When this happens to me i ask to myself :-
Am i beating most of the hands in his calling range?
( big draws, Big pairs)
Do i want to risk all my chips with my holding?
So if you think the hand over and come to a logical reasoning that you will be a head more then 50% of times then you should keep betting but if you think you will be beat in that situation more then 50% of times then you should give up.

i think its best to look at the villans tendencies, you can look at their fold to check raise, and their aggression by street(you need a fairly large sample size for the fold to check raise stat to be meaningful)

another way to look at it is you can look at the gap between their vpip and pfr and see what kind of player they are, ie most nits are not going to flat a check raise with air

What kind of hands are you doing this with? Are you doing it with vulnerable good hands, nuts, semi bluffs, pure bluffs?

is it possible to do with AK, only having a high pair... if you know that he goes to flush draw or straight draw

-Is your hand still the best on turn?

-what is the chances his hand improved?

-if i show weakness does he bet?

-if i do lead out is he capable to lay down second best hand?

-what is my image?

-Is this opponent more LAG or TAG?

-If my hand is still best on turn but vulnerable i will almost always lead out second barrel!

-what is the stack sizes?

I think often times, at least when I get check raised, I'll call simply to 'slow down' my opponent; i want him to think that i have a huge hand, or that i'm on a big draw. If he slows down on the turn and river, I can take advantage of that.
So from your perspective as the check-raiser, I think in the long run you're better off keeping the pressure on your opponent; once you've shown such strength, it's best to keep it up for the remainder of the hand.
Of course there are exceptions, but i think this is a nice general approach.

Situation I can think of checking on the turn would be, if we have the nuts/semi-nuts that giving him free card is still okay for us.

Hi!
Sure you can check the turn lot of times there.even more if you are out of position
Check call with a scared card or overbet if there is no draw there
Position is the most important thing in these situations
