it is very tempting to play such tourneys when you see the guaranteed money indeed, but it is not wise with such a bankroll.
applying tight bankroll management no matter what is wise. frustrating with a low BR but wiser.
if you follow tight BRM rules, like playing not more than 5% of your BR, when you loose you say : ok, i have been unlucky on this draw, I'll play another one, and I'll better focus and try to play better.
if you play a $3 thinking : afterall it's just the price of a coffee and maybe I can get the $1000, you are playing 10% of your BR and when you loose, you are more likely to go on tilt realizing you just lost 10% of your BR !! and you are more likely to play badly the next games as a consequence.
