I started at $30 original bankroll, and I've been playing $0.60 9-man turbo SnG's this whole time (and the freerolls, but I never cash in those, since you gotta outlast 99% of the field). I'm up to $48 now.

Could I move up to $1.10 SnG's now? Seems like they give a better profit without having to pitch in more rake, and having played it few, it seems they actually have softer competition than the $0.60's. Not as many micro grinders, I guess?

How many of the .60's have you played?

I'd say if you're OK with the risk of losing your bankroll, or at least a chunk of it, then there's nothing stopping you moving up. You've got a bit over 40 buyins for the new level which is a little low for SnGs but isn't the end of the world either.

Make the try and set some amount to where no matter what you jump back and should be ok.

Let´s say you take the shot to $1.10´s with $48 and if you get down to $30 move down. If you don´t have a problem with that then should be "safe" to take the shot, because even if go bad still will have 50 buyins for the lower level.

I agree with Logan move up but if you start loosing go back down to the games that you were winning at.

I would suggest you stick to good BRM.
Read the BRM post then decide.

At this point, consider those .60 games your base game. Every time over 5 of those games you show profit, allow your self, or gift yourself one shot at a bigger game, less than total profit you made over the 5 game stretch.

Be prepared to return to your base game still up overall.

It's not an all or nothing decision. $48 is enough BR to play $1.10, but you don't have to move up just because you have enough buyins. For example, you can take say $5.50 and play some 1.10 games to check out the level of the opponents and how (un)comfortable you feel.
