So Today's Blunder:
I had just woken up and still groggy, I late-register into a tourney that I usually like to play if I can. It's a $1.50 with a $.01 add-on.

I'm on the button with 32o(i know), blinds are
50/100 and I've got
860 chips,
and really I'm just waiting until I can add-on 5000 more chips, but for some reason the table was playing tight and folding to the blinds for the 8 hands I've played at this table so far(seemed logical then, meh).
It folds to me, and 99.999999% of the time I'm folding this, but for some reason, I got greedy and saw 300 chips out there and only having 860 that looked huge(again at the time),
so I almost snap shove(something I rarely do)
and get snap called by the sb with A6o(I laughed, and deserved it)

Flop is 3,9,Q rainbow, turn is a 6 and it was over for me.

then the Rebuy window pops up and where normally I'd get knocked out in that situation with minimum AK, and I'd snap rebuy, however, I closed the window as fast as I could and removed myself from computer privileges for a while to stop the bleeding.
Moral of the story is, if you recognize you're playing like sh!t, walk away for a while.
And come rant about it here....hahaha

Nothing against you closing the game, but you weren't exactly "bleeding". As far as I can tell, you lost 1 buy-in (unless I'm mistaken). I wouldn't get worked up over that.

I don't think your open jam was terrible. Folding to the add-on was also an option, but jamming vs tight table was fine. In this situation, you need to think ahead more. If you lose, are you going to rebuy? If not, then folding is your best option.

Honestly, think you're being too hard on yourself.

I DO think your open jam was terrible. You were risking extinction with literally the worst heads-up hand in poker (People think it's 72o, but that's the worst multi-way).

But I just misclicked and called all in pre-flop with a medium stack against a tight player. I had KTo.
Stuff happens.

You did the right thing by walking away. Have a cup of coffee, listen to the birds singing or the traffic humming, then get back to the tables.

Try to think of why you do things instead of when to do them.

Every single time the words 'should now' or 'should not now' appear in your head in a poker game replace it with 'will because' or 'will not because'.

This is very important in my personal opinion as it puts you in the driver's seat, not in the passenger's one so that when things go wrong you see it happening before your eyes and remember the mistake far better in the future as the entire thought process is how you trigger the memory whereas seeing 'when i did' or 'when i didn't' in hindsight doesn't help you learn efficiently.

I 100% agree with you. Some days I just can’t sit still for 4 hours non stop.
Today is just one of those days.
Just did a similar mistake in the CC fr. 13 from the money.

I already had thought about it, and I thought the B.B. was going to fold most of his range there. That’s definitely good advice though
