I dont know how to get a transcript of my hand from the replayer so I wrote it up as best I could:
Early stages of STT I have no reads
8 handed STT: I am chip leader with 3075 other stacks range from 1300-1650
Blinds: 15/30
HJK (1295) raises to 90
I call in CO with AhJh
SB: calls
BB: calls
Flop: Jc 2c 9h (pot 360)
SB: checks
BB: checks
HJK bets 270
I call
SB: fold
BB: calls
Turn: Kc (1170)
BB: checks
HJK: bets 300
I call
BB: calls
River: As (2070)
BB: AI for 690
HJK: AI for 635
I call

BB wins with nut flush

Any comments are appreciated, thanks in advance

I can't tell you about how you played the hand, but I can give a few tips about posting hand histories. You shouldn't really give the outcome of the hand in your opening post, and you need to give people as much information as possible about the other players involved, and your table image too, if possible.

This is the part of the forum for posting tournament hands for analysis:

https://www.cardschat.com/forum/tournament-hand-analysis-51/

This is the thread that it is best to read before posting tournament hands for analysis:

Good luck! :)

you coulda reraised that flop (to try and push out chasers)
but some people seem to love to chase (i have at times too-stupid but...(stupid when the cost is more than the possible return)

get that money in quicker tho, you will beat the chasers more often than not, so it should work out to be profitable...
it is poker... get the money while you can...and learn to take some beats

You didn't give out enough relevant information to determine really. Most likely this should be a fold pre if raiser is in EP or if he is tight (you didn't say).

My preference is basically to almost NEVER call preflop in SNGs. For sure fold the turn.

Just curious (Really Basic Question)....Why didn't we 3 bet pre? I'm saying for the sake of you not because you losing the hand btw, I'm just curious? I mean (We know how the hand plays out (What we don't know is how the players play in the hand)...I mean you could've done 3 bet to say 200-225 (Then depending on the players in the blinds (I can't think they'd call a 3 bet pre with Suited cards) A2s w/e (Even if they did), and you bet the flop hard, this would give you some sort of indication your beat on the river correct? Also HJK player if he calls would still be OOP (You'd still have position) and once they call your CBet on the flop you'd know where you stood in the hand, correct)?

How is this a fold pre? Really, just cuz someone raise Pre doesn't mean in Mircos they are good, I mean Damn I'm tight but folding AJs C.O to the HJK players Raise is tight even for me

I thought HJK was the player's name. I would call. If he were in EP I'd fold for sure. At this blind level I probably run like 9/8.

Yeah I seriously was think HJK stood for High Jack but then was wondering what the K also stood for, so you bring up a good point

My bad I thought that was the correct abbreviation, yes high jack. I guess I could've 3-bet pre, but given that I called is it really correct to fold the turn with the pot odds I was given?
