I'm so impatient
I always play wellthe first hour of the tournament
I watch how other players play and I'm trying to slowly increase my stack
but in the continuation of the game always comes a hand I play too fast
I'm not sure why I do not take more time to think
Do this happen to you and how to solve this problem?

Yes friend this happens sometimes;I advise you to take a break and do another thing for recreation.

It will be easier to play, if you constantly repeat in the game - do not rush, do not rush. Of course, then the reflex will develop - slowly play.

Try and do the same thing with each hand. This helped me and my tournament results quickly improved. I always check my cards, count to 3 and check again before either betting or folding. It keeps my mind focused and also makes me think about my hole cards each time instead of making quick, rash decisions. Doesn't work for everyone, but something like that may help.

Anxiety/stress while in the late phase of a tourney

Usually when I am feeling anxious while in the late part of a tourney I like to browse web for relax a little. In the other hand, I think that if you manage your anxiety problems without the need of lose foccus in the game fou will surely acquire a higher level of poker skills due to a stronger mind. I have it often. This is due to fatigue or an unfortunate moment in the game. It happens that I folded, and then the necessary card came and I could get a straight. After such moments, I get upset and go all-in with a small pair. Recently in the tournament in the bubble was 7 on the stack and made all-in with a pair of 10 chip leader took and showing a pair of jacks. As a result, I flew to get a small prize, although I pritendoval for a big prize. Unfortunately, this happens often. I think that this is due to the mentality and fatigue. I solved this problem by switching to cash. More profitable form for me and the freedom is unbeatable.

Patience is always key. I agree it is difficult, but without patience you will not succeed.

Just like anything if you practice it you will get better like a few have said before take a few extra seconds and breathe that seems to help most people.

try doing some multitasking in that moment, play and watch an youtube video for example a few hands;it slows you down enough; dunno about you, but it works for me

This is why patience is the key. Try playing smaller sit and gos or ko tournaments instead. They are quicker so you won’t lose focus. Do this and then practice some patience when you enter a large tourney. There are different phases and you need to be able to recognize the transition to those phases to adjust your play accordingly. Good luck.

Maybe STT instead of MTT? Normal speed STT should run about an hour.

Tournaments are marathons and not sprints.

I do the same but for me is simple i just dont expect to last for 1 or 2 hours in a tournament. So whent it hapens i am experience fatigue and lose before cash or shortly after. What i did to improve was play and wach tv in the same time so gets me off for few moments from the game and slows me down a little. Did make it like dis for a 3 hours run and a 12 place in a small tournament.

Reading the title of the post, I thought that you are impotent lol. I do not bother about it, for example if the speed tourney hyper turbo to not wait when 2x-3x forward. If the reg speed you can play like you. This is no limit fold'em lol.
