What are the odds of flopping trips WITHOUT holding a pocket pair in a heads up sit n go match?
Provide me some math.

Thank you.

hi!
the odds are 73 to 1 or 1.35% chance to flopping a set using one of your pocket cards from two non-pair cards
;)

That is not a set. It is trips. Big difference. In all fairness, even Doyle (in SSI and SSII) refers to a 'set of trips'. Modern usage is that a set is 2 in the hole with a match on the board. Trips is 2 on the board with a match in the hole.

The big difference is that one is way more sneaky than the other.

Even worse is your opponent having an unpaired hole card and making quads using the board.
