HPT PLO Event - Advice?

It's official I will be playing in the Heartland Poker Tour PLO Event in St. Louis April 23rd. If anyone has ever played in LIVE omaha MTTs and have any advice, or know any good articles, forum threads, etc. on the subject please post it. I will post in this thread also if I come across anything.

I have taken down two PLO MTTs and FT a few, hoping I can have a really good run here. :cool:

And to anyone interested if you have a DeucesCracked membership or free trial look up Tournamentality: Episode Six. Vanessa sits down with another member and go over a PLO MTT from an EPT event that he took down.

Not many PLO MTTs video there, plenty of cash table videos though.

Good luck and hope you run well...had a chance to win a 550 entry NLHE at this event on a site I play at but blew it...

I hope you know if its 6-handed or 9,10-handed. The PLO tournaments in my area are 10 handed and I never play them. When its 9 or 10 handed, you have to be really patient and play good hands. Its usually a lot of players in the pot just limping so I dont think you should be bluffing early. Control the pot and then get value from the fishes. I dont know how big the buyin is but if its relatively small, you get a lot of fishes playing a lot of hands.

Buy-In for the event is $150, I'm pretty sure it will never be 10 handed at a major tour event like the HPT.

Seems you already KNOW the in's and out's of PLO, since you won a couple and FT a few. Just do your thing!! GL and hitting flops!!!!!!! :coffee:
